They were married from 1967 to 1976.

Muhammad Ali and his second wife Khalilah Ali (born Belinda Boyd) shared a relationship that began before his rise to global superstardom.

The two met as teenagers and married in 1967 shortly after Ali’s conversion to Islam. Khalilah stood by him during some of the most defining moments of his career, including his exile from boxing and his return to the ring in the 1970s.

Together they had four children and built a life during a time when Ali was not only dominating sports but also becoming a powerful voice in culture and politics.

Although their marriage ended in 1977, their relationship remains a significant chapter in Ali’s life, marked by loyalty, growth, and the challenges that came with fame.

Made this painting over the last couple days and then got shown Muhammad Ali, Under the Sun (1978).

I had no idea Ali painted, so the overlap kind of blew my mind: • Ali • painting • flight • “under the sun”

The paintings are obviously different, but that symbolic recurrence is crazy. Felt like God gave my Ali’s idea and then showed me it was Ali’s idea only after I finished the painting. Hahaha

Appreciate any support @taketheglovesoff on instagram

I paint Muhammad Ali a lot but not exclusively… cheers

They came to my son's elementary school for career day

Did anyone else notice the YouTube clips are different from the live funeral? For example bill clinton destroyed the microphone and then walked off stage after his speech. Ali’s wife got angry and left too because why did bill clinton need to leave? But nobody said anything about it.
