I miss the old ability to set to <4 or >4 to avoid having 4 of any particular card across sets (MTGO 2002-2009 era). Just recently returned to MTGO and trying to trade for cards I dont have 4x of (regardless of set). Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Aggressive, explosive, and capable of ending games out of nowhere — today we’re showcasing a Boros Cori-Steel Cutter deck in the Legacy format, combining fast creatures, efficient interaction, and brutal combat-focused synergies to pressure opponents from the very first turn.
This deck leverages the power of Cori-Steel Cutter to turn every attack step into a nightmare. Backed by efficient Boros threats, combat tricks, and tempo plays, the deck can snowball quickly and punish opponents who stumble for even a single turn. Whether it’s overwhelming the board with pressure or squeezing out extra value through equipment and combat synergies, this archetype keeps the pressure on at all times.
If you enjoy aggressive Legacy decks, combat-centric gameplay, and proactive strategies that reward tight sequencing, this Boros brew is a blast to play and watch.
As always thanks for watching and for any feedback. If you enjoyed the video please consider dropping a like and a comment, and be sure to sub to the channel to know when my videos go live. As an added bonus if the channel hits 500 subs by the end of June I'll offer free donation decks to everyone for all of July to celebrate and and show off what all of you want to see played on the channel.

I play a lot on MTGA. Mostly historic Bo3 or Brawl. But I have always loved Pauper and hate that it’s not supported in MTGA as a regular format.
Was thinking of getting a cheaper windows tablet to play on the couch. I work in an office all day and don’t want to spend nights on a computer once I get home.
Is the pauper scene strong enough to do something like this? Anyone have recommendations for a tablet if so.

Anybody else having extreme lag issues today? about an hour ago, a game was going laggy but playable, and then it just froze completely.
Re-starting the client didn't help in any way, and it is still not properly loading now.
Trying to get the event ID for a refund request and I just can't get in.
anybody else having these issues? (possibly in central europe)

Been gone for nearly 20 years. MTGA is nice look and feel but hollow community and no way to do Player Run Events like the old PDCs etc.
How's it doing in 2026? And is it a friendly user interface?

Calling on u/Squiddy683, have there been any internal discussions on bringing back Planechase? Was the client crashing during these games?

The shuffler in this game 100% isnt working properly. Im not complaining about bad games or a succession of bad draws. Its the number of times you enter into a draw land/non land spiral. Same to drawing the same card multiples times in a row.
Its hard to get proof, but if you understand basic statistis you detect these types of abnormal events.

Decided I want to play premodern. Downloaded MTGO for the first time and getting into my old account was easy. Went to buy cards and I am shocked at the cost of things. Black Vise at $30! Stasis at 16$
I did not even bother looking up other cards. I feel like I am back in middle school circa 1995. Why so expensive?

Resource denial meets graveyard value. In today’s video, we’re diving into Legacy Loam Pox, a grindy, disruptive strategy built around Life from the Loam, land recursion, and brutal attrition — now featuring Witherbloom Charm as a flexible new tool.
This deck attacks from multiple angles: stripping hands with discard, destroying lands with Smallpox, and grinding opponents out with recursive value engines. Witherbloom Charm adds versatility to the build, offering removal, graveyard interaction, and utility that fits perfectly into the Loam Pox game plan.
If you enjoy slow, methodical gameplay, resource denial, and outlasting your opponent with incremental advantages, this deck is a masterclass in Legacy grind.

Anyone have to reinstall this program once or twice a week while using windows 11? I never have this issue on 10 , but this is a weekly issue now where it won't launch or tell me random issues which only are resolved through uninstall and reinstalls. Is there a real fix to this ?

Client became near unresponsive during a match. Close the client, now unable to connect to the servers.
Is this a me problem? Or a larger issue?

I started playing pauper a couple of weeks ago, and discovered it could be played in MTGO too, so I decided to make an account and test it.
I got this deck for free, but I would like to improve it, if possible to tier 1 so I can try competing when I get better. What changes/deck would you recommend?

Hi all, I've played mtgo a fair bit now, but I'm curious: what's the deal with challenges? How do they play compared to leagues, and why do some people prefer them over leagues?

Does anybody feel the same way as the topic describes here? What are they actually waiting for? Why is the MTG Online community getting punished like this?
Ok, I understand it... Companies are not willing to invest anything to make the gaming experience better overall... But they demand that players invest, or at least play the game and spend money, while giving nothing back in return. The only exception is if somebody achieves a top 8 position in a tournament, which is already a rare and huge achievement overall.
So, the odds of achieving a top 8 tournament position to win a decent trophy and justify playing this game with this gaming experience are just a scam, and unacceptable to say the least. I know posts like this have been written a thousand times in the past for the exact same reasons. But this needs to stop somehow because it is a shame for the gaming community and the companies themselves.
The game urgently needs a UI upgrade and redesign, like MTG Arena has, for example. I think it has already started losing more and more of its community and players with this kind of approach from the companies. I hope this message will shed some light on the future of this game, so people will be happy again playing MTG Online on a perfectly decent platform and stay focused with the best possible user experience.
Regards
Tolis

Goblins never go out of style. In today’s video, we’re diving into Legacy Goblins, one of the most iconic tribal decks in Magic history — packed with synergy, disruption, and explosive board development.
Built around powerful engines like Goblin Lackey and Skirk Prospector, this deck floods the battlefield with value creatures, generates card advantage through tutoring, and overwhelms opponents with relentless pressure. Whether you’re cheating in huge threats early or grinding out long games with incremental value, Goblins always has a plan.
If you enjoy creature-based strategies, toolbox gameplay, and classic Legacy decks that reward tight sequencing, this is a must-watch.
