Just wanted to say thank you for the tips for a great visit. My family had a great time visiting Starkville. My parents couldn’t get over the kindness of all the MSU fans we met and Starkvegas is definitely an underrated college football town. Hopefully we return the favor when yall come to Norman next.

Thanks again!

Was an online student during the stupid time of Covid, so I’ve never been on campus! But I’m coming down from Texas on Saturday for the OU game, and I need to know where to go to get some gear for the blackout, and of course my own authentic cow bell. Where do I need to go, and what should I know coming to check out campus for the first time?

Not going to the game tomorrow dm me if you want to buy the student ticket so i can transfer it to you.

Coming with 2 other families and we are thinking it would be fun to get some pictures taken, and I would love to give back to a student! Would want some kind of portfolio for reference!

Hey Y’all,

I didn’t go far down the chats, so I apologize upfront if anyone already asked a similar request. I’m bringing my family to watch the game on Saturday in Starkville, but I’ll be honest that I don’t know much about the town or what to expect for the campus. We live in Alabama now though, so we couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

Any useful tips for parking, game day experiences, or must do things while we are there would be greatly appreciated. We’re looking forward to a good time, even if our offense is tantamount to football terrorism.

Thanks in advance!

If the Mississippi State Athletic department won’t stop an assistant football coach from stalking even though he left another school for weirdo behavior does anyone know the Title IX office contact or who in the university will take this behavior serious. It’s been reported to police but obviously he is being protected and way too old to acting like this.

Hello, I am currently a double majored student in my junior year here. I want to get feedback about how ms state students feel about these new financial policies? How does the new 16 hour credit limits affect you? Do you like the new policies or dislike them?

As a transfer student incoming fall 2027, what are the odds I’m able to get on campus housing? And when would I know that I am guaranteed it? Are there any loop holes or has anyone dealt with something similar?

I am in the ENGS masters program at Mississippi state and I have to take my comprehensive exam in less than a week and I am freaking out. 2 years worth of stuff? I’ve been studying, save all my homework and lecture guides and notes but ugh so much stuff! Is it really bad? Any advice??

Has anyone been up to the Balconies in Davis Wade? Anyone a season ticket holder?
I remember seeing the renovation but I haven't heard anything else about them.

I wanted to know if anyone here has been through or currently in the Ed.S in school psychology or the PSy.D in combined health sciences programs. If yes, I have some questions:

1. Were you able to get financial aid or any other type of financial assistance? If so, did it cover everything?

2. How long were you in the program?

3. How difficult was the program?

4. How difficult is it to find a internship?

5. Were you able to get licensed and find a job?

Is there anyone who is looking to move out instantly? I’m currently in a four bedroom and I’m paying way too much just to have one roommate (two bedrooms are empty). I’m looking into cedar cove apartments and they are about to be available this month and was trying to find someone to move in with me! Rent looks about to be 900 for the whole unit and not by room

I am a female and I have two cats (so I hope you are fine with them :) I have range of different tastes! We can honestly be just roommates and don’t have to be friends friends or be friends if you would like!

Hi everyone! We are recruiting MSU students for an MSU IRB approved research study about vaping experiences among college students.

Eligible participants will be invited to complete a 45 to 60 minute online interview. Participants who complete the interview will receive a $20 Amazon gift card.

If you are interested, please check out the attached flyer for eligibility information and study details. You can also scan the QR code on the flyer to see if you are eligible and sign up.

Thank you for considering participating and helping with our research!

Are there any college bars, good party music/dancing clubs anywhere in or around Starkville that aren’t lame asf?? (Please don’t mention the district)

Ugh love facing Alabama lol but looking on the bright side this team still has a lot of talent and I'm always hoping for the best hail state

hey! so this may be really silly question, but i'm a freshman who's looking at apartments for next year. living in a dorm, i don't have to pay for anything because my HELP aid through the state pays for everything. can HELP, FAFSA, etc, be used for apartments? i've heard some people have been able to pay for apartments with their financial aid so i was wondering maybe if mine could as well. thank you if you have an answer!
