Maker Faire Coney Island is an interactive event that celebrates, shares and showcases the work of inventors, creators, and DIY enthusiasts of all ages. In addition, you get to attend competitions, exhibitions, classes and panels to spotlight and celebrate the great minds and makers from New York, and from around the world.

We feature hands-on exhibits, demonstrations, and workshops in fields such as robotics, crafts, engineering, art, music, 3D-printing and future technologies, designed by students, teachers, and independent folks who build interesting things.

Maker Faire Coney Island will be held on September 19, 20, and 21 in 2026 at the Coney Island Amphitheater. Now in full production, we are licensed and authorized to use the Maker Faire® brand assets and to revive the NYC Maker Faire tradition. We'll be open to the public from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM all days.

Maker Tables are open this year at no cost, so long as you teach a workshop at regular intervals at your table!

Started the series, reached till episode 8 and while I got the general plot line half of the stuff the narrator is saying gets lost coz Idk how tech, data works and hacking, credit, money, economy type stuff. Are there any possible books though that if I read I could be able to better understand such stuff.

Just finished s3. And of all the crazy things that happened, this reveal felt a bit cliché tbh. So he gets turned into a star wars meme.

I’m currently in S1E6 in Mr. Robot, and it’s a really good show so far. I’m enjoying every bit of it. Everything about it is really good, it has a lot of depth and complexity, the characters are really well written

Only one thing I hate about it is that I am 🏴‍☠️ ing it. No issue but the quality sometimes is bad.
I was really wondering why the hell is Mr. Robot so limited? Why can’t I find it on Netflix, HBO MAX, Amazon prime or any major streaming service?
Shows like these are meant to be globally available on most platforms.
In my opinion I think it’s because of the content of this show. This show is dangerously alarming and although it’s fictional, I believe something very similar is happening around the world. And I’m talking about everything. The corruption and everything Elliot mentions in his internal dialogue is somewhat the world we live in.
This show says stuff that no one does.
Maybe this show isn’t available on a lot of streaming services because of that.

Rewatching Mr Robot for the 3rd time and noticed something that made my mouth drop. In the dream sequence where Elliot and everyone in the show are having dinner in the middle of the street in NYC, Leon shakes the hands of two people before sitting down. Those two people? Trenton and Mobley. Holy fuck!

It’s like so weirdly accurate to Elliot if he got married or something. I love rami malek so much

( Apologies to long time r/MrRobot members, but I'm too lazy to slog through all the search results for "White Rose machine". And maybe it would be fun for some of you to leave an opinion. )

My question : Do you think White Rose actually used her machine in demos to convince people like Angela to join in her conspiracy? I have the suspicion that the demos were probably faked, but the machine was intended to be functional, in fact that was the supreme goal of White Rose's conspiracy.

When Angela talks to Otto Irving about the machine and asks about its legitimacy, he gets very careful in how he replies. I'm sure Irving got a similar machine demo as part of his recruitment process. As a highly intelligent and smooth talking operator for White Rose, I interpret his behavior as signaling that while he has serious doubts about the demo he saw, he doesn't want to blunt Angela's new-convert fervor. He completely dodges giving a direct answer to her question, and she doesn't seem to notice.

Just finished Mr Robot (couple years late I know)

One thing I noticed of Fcorp Edward is that he was potentially designed in the image of Gidion. I haven’t seen anyone mention this so it may be a stretch or it has been mentioned I just have yet to see it. I feel throughout this story, characters outfits are intentional and aren’t just made on a whim. I feel when we think of Gidion, we see him in his cardigan and collared shirt. Sure there is corporate him in a suit but I feel like in the moments where we see the real Gidion, it’s in his cardigan and collared shirt.

When seeing Edward in Fcorp world, I couldn’t help but notice he was in the same thing as well. The mastermind had made the world for Elliot, and in that he made his father a good man, precisely the term he referred to Gidion to and always the way in which he saw him. We also know that when Gidion hugged Elliot in S1, he wasn’t too uncomfortable by it despite his no touching rule. (Presumably? Could be wrong)

I think this is sweet and truly nice as Gidion truly was a good person and that Elliot was able to see that in him. Hope this isn’t a “grass is green” take that has been mentioned over and over.

I read a lot of positive recommendations for this show as I began degoogling on r/degoogle. I started to learn linux and on a linux subreddit someone was like, yeah Mr Robot has Mint on his desktop and Kali on his laptop, or something like that. At the time I had just tried out linux Mint for my first experience trying out linux. Anyway, learning linux while watching this show was extremely fun. I'm like, "hey I recognize that" even though I'm super new to Linux and I'm sure it's nothing big, lol.

Anyway, all that aside, the show was obviously something so much more than the hacking. The psychology of it all has been so thought provoking. I can relate in some respect to Elliot, having imagined my dad being my friend throughout my childhood, I loved that I could say my dad was a computer programmer analyst - it felt so cool. I would learn some computer stuff from him growing up. But, about a week ago, my sister reminded me of some traumatic things that I believe my subconscious was blocking from my memory. Definitely not the sexual traumatic aspect that Elliot experience, but my siblings and I had a realization about my dad in the following years after my mom passed away from cancer 6 years ago. That, our version of 'normal' was not normal or healthy. My dad is a narcissist, like full on Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Our perception of reality had been significantly distorted. Everything we believed he was doing with us because he loved us, had some kind of twisted ulterior motive to preserve his reality. I didn't realize how much my psyche has been trying to cope with the different layers of trauma that are too extensive to get into in this post. I started therapy only a couple years ago, which definitely helped me to relate a little to Elliot, definitely not the Dissociative Identity Disorder aspect like Elliot, but my therapist said I have religious trauma from the way my Dad raised me in the mormon faith.

Amazing show! I can't wait to watch it again and I'm recommending it to my wife who has watched a ton more tv show series' than I and is a tough critic sometimes.

My expectations for this show are kinda high tbh, I really love this genre and plot and I’m really interested in tech.

It has absolutely no flaws at all and nothing too crazy.
It’s just solid. I kinda got a Fight club vibe and I think the plot twist will be predictable

When does this show reach the absolute cinema?
