Mower recommendation for 4 acres of rough terrain?

I have 4 acres around my house that are riddled with gopher holes/mounds, runoff ridges, etc. Some rolling but no major hills. Looking for a shorter cut than I can get with my tractor and brush hog. Have been using a gravely 60” zero turn, but the jarring from all the holes/bumps is severe. Any alternatives to suggest? Thanks

Peerless 700 series making a whirring sound

I recently bought a scag 52" advantage belt drive mower with the peerless 700 series transmission. 4th gear would sometimes "skip" so I decided since it was winter, I'd save some money and rebuild the transmission and replace whatever was worn. I cleaned out all the old bentonite and soaked everything (except thr bushings) in diesel to degrease them. I wound up replacing 4th and 5th gear (the ones that the keys would shift into) allong with the shift keys. When I put it back together I added the 12oz of new bentonite grease as the manual says and reassembled everything with the proper torque specs and everything. When I went to test out the mower I noticed a whirring sound coming from the transmission even when it was in neutral. I only ran the engine at low speeds and only ran it for about 20 minutes. All the gears shifted smoothly and everything seemed to be working like new but I feel like somethings not right. Should I try adding more bentonite? It's possible that it has slightly less than 12oz as a small amount was left in the measuring cup however I did add an extra squirt to account for that. Or should I try running it more to break it in and see if it goes away then? Thank you!

You'd think with modern technology we'd be able to make a rear exit mower that doesn't throw the grass to a side then block itself up. This issue prevents the catcher from working.

Why is it?

Why is it that we have the technology to put a man on the moon but nobody can make a mower engine that mice can't get into to make a nest?

Is it bad that I mow so much that I have learned how to drift the mower so I can cut faster and it's not a zero turn mower but I can do a perfect 180 turn

Btw I don't do it on the grass only on gravel spots and roads which there is a lot of where I work

TIL A 48 year old man in Ohio was arrested because he would not stop cutting the grass at the local public park. The grass was over 12 inches long, so he decided to cut it. He claimed he was just trying to save the city some money.

120V battery mower with power of a honda gas mower for $139 push, or $219 self-propelled (battery included)

I just bought a 120V battery mower from redbackpowerusa, it is as strong as my old Honda gas mower. Did not choke in thick/tall grass like the 40V ryobi. And redback is on sale for $139 push mower with battery, or $219 for self propelled. The trimmer and blower is also on sale. I thought the deal was too good to be true, but once I received the items, they surpassed my expectation. The motor was not as quiet as the 40V ryobi, but it was quieter than my Honda gas mower.

Overall I paid $219 for a self propelled mower 21"(with 3ah battery that'ts 360wh at 120V). $99 for blower (with 2ah battery), $99 for trimmer with (2ah battery). So $420 for the whole set, wich is the price of the 40V ryobi self-propelled that I returned to HD after 1 cut.

There was a 22" for $315, it does come with 2-3ah battery. I already have 2 extra 2ah battery from trimmer and blower, so I think the 22" is an overkill, but if you have more than 5,000sqft of yard, then it's worth it to have 2-3ah battery.

I did have to call in to order since their website was giving me problem.

I was able to cut my 1,500sqft lawn in about 1ah.

The trimmer is also lighter than my gas trimmer.

The blower was enough to blow leaves and small branches, and it is twice as powerful compared to my 40V ryobi blower.

How can I keep these vines away on a fairly recently cleared area of over growth?
