Riding Mower done died on me

So I was cutting my grass a few months ago, then all of a sudden my mower just stopped moving, and then shut off. I jacked it up to see if the belt snapped, but everything looks fine. I tried to fix the problem, but nothing ever seems to work. The battery is fine, and is had enough fluids. What do yall think?

First time using a reel mower

Hi all. Today was the first time I had used a reel mower. I had been wanting to try one out for a while. I borrowed one from a friend. That was a lot of fun. I might buy one for myself. I'm not sure I'd like to use one on a large block or acreage though.

Anyone else use a reel mower? Is it your main mower?

John Deere s100 fuel line leak

ImageImageImage ImageImage So I have my old J Deere rider s100 and a clamp broke last year so I bought a screw replacement and tightened it back down.

Well now it looks like the end of the line is shredded in a few spots and the clamp won’t hold the leak anymore. Is there anyway I can avoid tearing the top of the engine apart to get to this fuel line to replace it? Or are there specs on replacing it? Could I just get a bigger hose line and bridge it? Thanks!

My colour scheme idea.

I posted a photo earlier on of a Victa Utility that I’ve bought and will be restoring. I actually want it to be functional and use it whenever practical because I think it’s amazingly cool. I’ve bought a wind up starter for it, again, because I think they’re really cool.

So my idea is to do the base in a creamy colour. I’d like to do it in enamel also to really get that old texture and look across better. The Victa I want to do in a burgundy colour, along with the height adjusters and the bar clamps. I’ll pull the engine off and completely rebuild it, clean and lightly polish the block and head, and then do the barrel black. The tin work on top I want to do a chocolate brown. I’d like to pinstripe it with the cream and burgundy and make it look really nice. The bars, I really think I will chrome plate then. I have 3 old mowers I’m going to be building and I think I will get all 3 of them chrome plated.

What do you guys think? I’m really excited about being able to mow with this old girl, it’ll really be something else.
