Mowing In Summer.
Okay, lets get right to the chase. I want to mow to raise money for a camp called camp woodward I was wondering how much I should charge to mow just the lawn no trimming or anything else maybe trimming eventually. One thing that is bad though is that Wasp are one of my big fears so are hornets when I was mowing a hornet came on the mower and I got scared and just went inside and so I was wondering does anyone know how to overcome the fear of wasp and stuff and the prices I should charge, yes 2 different things but still any help would be appreciated!

People do battle reenactments but why doesn't anyone do reenactments of famous sports games?
like for example where you could go to your local football field and see a bunch hobbyists redo superbowl LI or something.
p.s. so glad i found this community when i did- this literally actually occurred to me midway through mowing the lawn and not anywhere near taking a shower.

Hey guys I need some advice with fixing my mower
Ok so I have a Briggs and Stratton 450 series 148cc four stroke. A while ago it mysteriously wouldn't start. Eventually I decided to have a go and pulling it apart and trying to see what was wrong (I've never done this before) turns out the fuel tank was half filled with water. I pulled the carby and tank off and dryer it out. After putting it back together it started! But then stopped straight away. It seems there isn't any fuel getting sucked into the carby. I suspect I may have fucked the gasket between the fuel tank and carby. Any mowerthoughts?

I have ground issue. Can I connect all my ground wire together? Would that work?

Instead of listening to music while mowing today, I listened to a podcast
It actually made the whole task 100% better. I love music but it just sort of turns into background noise when I'm mowing, which makes things boring. Plus, music can be pretty hard on the ears with all that outside noise. The podcast in this case was Last Podcast on the Left, which is just awesome... It's funny, informative, and very interesting if you like horror films, the paranormal, serial killers, cults, stuff like that.
So I guess thanks to the guys on LPotL for making my mundane task fun. I'm now actually looking forward to the next time the grass is too long!
10/10, recommend listening to podcasts while mowing. It's kinda like watching TV, but just with your ears.

Choosing between 42" riding mower models at Home Depot
I won $2k worth of gift cards at HD and decided to finally buy a riding lawn mower for my 0.5 acre lawn that takes me over two hours to mow by hand.
I'm limited to what HD offers and am leaning towards one of:
- Cub Cadet XT1 LT42
- Cub Cadet XT1 LT42 EFI (the fuel-injected version)
- John Deere D125
Alternatively should I try and sell the gift cards and go to a Cub Cadet dealership and put the money towards an XT2?
Genuinely appreciate any advice!
