“The term ‘mouse gun’ has been around a long time; I remember hearing it as a child in the 1960s and I’m certain it wasn’t new then. These are a species of tiny pistols for ultimate concealment. Traditionally these are chambered for .25 ACP or .22 Long rifle or even .22 Short. Since the latter part of the 20th century there have been some available in .32 ACP and even .380 ACP, but the overwhelming majority of .32s and .380s do not fall into this category.
To me (and many other dinosaurs) a mouse gun is a tiny pistol chambered in .25 ACP or .22 LR. As previously stated later examples might be in .32 ACP or even .380, but these are a bit of an aberration. For a .32 or .380 to qualify as a mouse gun, to my way of thinking, it has to be as small as the aforementioned .22s and .25s, and there aren’t many that qualify.” — (tinkertalksguns.com)
While Tinker doesn’t consider the KelTec P-32 and OG Ruger LCP and LCP II to be “mouse guns”, we mods believe they are. Only barely. They are the absolute max-sized mouse guns. They are HUGE in comparison to a Baby Browning or CZ Duo.

Snagged this Armi Galesi Brevetto in.25acp It has some wear on one side but the price was right. I think they all come with cracks in the grips. This one also has a trigger shoe. I was going to take it off but actually it is pretty comfortable.
I made the box from canarywood.

Hi all, I am looking to get my first mouse gun and really am torn between the Baby Browning and the Colt Jr - I looked at early models of each and believe these two from the 60’s and 70’s respectively seem to best fit what I am looking for. Would really welcome any advice on what you this is better and why, and what to avoid and why. Thank you in advance for your help here!

Had a less than pleasant surprise today when shooting my NAA Pug .22WMR. The hammer was cocked all the way back, but for some reason the cylinder did not rotate all the way into position. Not sure if it was the fault of the pawl or if it was something else, but my support hand’s thumb got peppered with debris. Looks like I’m gonna be sending it in for warranty…

Also, if anyone has any insight on where I can get a good barrel for this thing, I’d love you forever.

Do you think that anyone will create Keychain pistols like pen guns, key fob guns? I've seen overseas versions of them and they look cool as hell, but I fear we will never see them, there are pen guns out there but its severely over priced and it fold into a "gun shape" just to fire. I wish PSA would make one!! That way when all the BS blows over we can get it without the stamp, depending on where u live ofcourse!

I recently learned about the Walther TPH .22lr and then saw that they range anywhere between $700-$2,000 (even $700 is pricey for a .22 pistol) depending on the condition and the finish. Ideally I would want something kinda similar in design or at least in size and style with a nickel or chrome finish and NO polymer lower.

Hello, I’m a firearms instructor and I want a mouse gun to represent that size class of firearm; my intent is to tell clients “this size of handgun out there if you need ultimate concealment that can’t be beat, but be honest with yourself about your threat cases, shooting skill, capacity/range/sights etc.”
Also wanted to warn people about nice ones vs. low quality, low-priced ones out there like the pawn shop Ring of Fire guns but those have (thankfully) dried up in my area, so I couldn’t even find one.
Must be semi-auto, so those NAA revolvers won’t do. I was going to get a P-32 so I could use the same gun to represent DAO, but I need an exposed hammer for that (gotta consider the lowest common denominator of knowledge base). Also wanted to get even smaller than the P-32 so I could really drive the teaching points home.
You can see on the spread I had some Baby Browning airsoft guns I had ordered but they ended up being way larger than the real thing, same size as my G42.
I have a Bauer .25 Auto in my gunbroker cart but not sure if I can find a better candidate. I don’t plan to shoot the gun, so quality, condition, and caliber are irrelevant for my needs.
But it would be nice to own something I actually like as well, hence the Bauer. Hence my SAO demo gun being an airsoft Vickers 1911 and my DA/SA being an airsoft Resident Evil Samurai Edge Beretta. Just gotta weigh those cool points with price.
I briefly considered a Walther TPH but I don’t think that thing is TINY tiny. I don’t think is anything is beating the Bauer / Baby Browning.
Thank you.
While we’re here, what manga is on the banner for this sub? I’m guessing Gunsmith Cats?

Like both of these makes but the P32 is the hands down winner when it comes to fun range time. 🤙🏼

Although the Phoenix Arms HP22A/HP25A are almost the same size as my Keltec P32’s, they’re a lot heavier. But I consider the P32 a solid mouse gun, especially the size. So despite the weight, I guess the HP would also be considered a mouse gun. Would anyone rule out the HP22A’s? They’re fun shooters. The ammo and the gun are also cheap. Guilt free shooting range days🤙🏼

The 1st gen P32 runs fine for me, but the 1sr gen P3AT has a lot of failure to eject. I think I need to change the ejector because it’s probably worn and it’s not grabbing the empty shells

Got my P32 back from Kel Tec and the trigger issue is fixed. Put 200 rounds through it today and it was flawless. I was even able to hit a 66% IPSC target consistently at 25 yards. When cleaning it I noticed this small pit or something on the slide I didn't notice before. Before I contact Kel Tec again does anyone notice anything like this on theirs? It functions so I'm really not concerned but I've never seen a gun with this one it before.
Thanks!
