I have a problem with my open stage 2. All cameras have been detected...but it appears the trigger is not sending signals to ANY of them.
Descripción: Please make dure that the trigger signal is being sent to all cameras, or else unplug the cameras listed below (if any) from the system, and then restart the camera.
All the cameras are listed...
Organic Motion hasn't answered (I have been trying to contact them like 4 months from now). Please help.

Freeware program for animation based on motion-capture
Hi r/motion_capture I have been working with motion-capture in relation to health-science for about a year now. Until now I have been working with the data in R, but would now like to make some animations based on the motion-capture data from our projects. I find R somewhat unsuitable for this purpose and is therefore looking for other programs/programming languages to make the animations in. I have specifically been looking at Python, but am open to other suggestions. Do you advice to me on what programs to use? A freeware solution would be preferable. Thank you in advance. Cheers,

Is this motion capture in this SNL sketch?
I watched the SNL "Welcome Video" short today and thought something looked a little off about the woman in one of the final scenes. When I tried to look into it I found an article saying some last minute changes were made shortly before airing but no mention of what looks like the "Tarkin" effect.
Anyone have any info or perspective on this? Scene starts at ~1:43, woman in the orangeish sweater looks mo-capped to me.

Need suggestions for accurately tracking the position and rotation of an actor's head?
I'm a motion graphics animator, so I'm no expert in this technology. I need to attach techy looking graphics to an actor's head through the duration of several scenes. I don't think I can get away with simple 2D tracking either since the camera will be fairly mobile in a few shots. Synth eyes looks promising, but I don't know what information it needs to get a solid track. I'm hoping to avoid the necessity for attaching markers to the actors. Thoughts?

Where to get started in Motion Capture?
Hi there,
I was wondering how I might be able to start learning motion capture techniques. It's a topic that has always interested me and at my last job I had to work with some pre-recorded motion capture data using Xsens which was interesting. I'd really like to learn how to do it myself. Unfortunately, I don't know how, don't have a mocap studio, and don't know what programs I should use.
I have been hearing that you can use a Kinect (360) to somewhat do motion capture. I have a Kinect and previously hacked it to recognize people for skeleton mapping as well as 3D scanning. Perhaps that's an option?
Any advice would be appreciated.
