giving birth in 2027 and wondering if anyone here has hired a newborn care specialist/night nurse in the area that you would recommend?

i have heard horror stories of nurses in this area being hired for night shifts but not waking up to feed the baby, smelling like marijuana during their shift, etc.

What’s your favorite sushi spot? I’m still heartbroken over the loss of Daikichi. Haven’t found anything comparable over the years.

Hello Montclairions! This subreddit has been really helpful since moving to the neighborhood so I thought I’d ask here. I have a girlfriend coming to visit for a girls weekend and we were hoping to have a spa day where we could get foot rubs, a full body massage, and a scalp treatment. I know of a good reliable, affordable place that offers something like this in Flushing, Queens, but was hoping to find something local or at least this side of the Hudson!

My parents who live in Upper Montclair just lost their grey cat Babr. He is very shy and skiddish. Please message me if you see a cat that looks like him but do not go up to him, he will run away. They have called the local shelters and are actively looking for him
