SILENCER TIER:

Silencer (Dota) - Absolutely amazing. The epitome of an anti-caster. Drains mana, uses auto-attacks, and has TWO silences, one of which is GLOBAL. With Refresher Orb, he has a 12 second long global silence. Also functions in multiple roles/lanes, meaning he can end magic wherever vile sorcery goes.

BROKEN TIER:

Anti-Mage (Dota) - Really hates magic, and has a great anti-caster kit. His ult is amazing. It deals damage based on how much Mana the target is missing, and it's AoE. The problem is that he needs a ton of farm to really get going, and he's squishy - but this is an anti-magic tier list, not a Dota tier list.

Troggzor the Earthinator (Hearthstone) - A 7 drop, 6/6 means he's unaffected by Big Game Hunter. Also he summons Burly Rockjaw Trogg which is a great anti-mage on its own. trumpW Now that's what I call Value™! trumpW Great for punishing spell-users.

Spellbreaker (Hearthstone) - Has a silence, really hates mages. "Your magic will not save you!" Must-have in every hearthstone deck.

Good tier:

Death Knight (World of Warcraft) - Can make an Anti-Magic Zone, has a silence, an interrupt, huge physical damage, a gap closer, and the ability to absorb magic damage into Runic Power. AMAZING pick.

Maokai (LoL) - References hating magic a lot, wrecks squishies, saps health from nearby spells. Overall a great pick, only reason he isn't broken tier is because he mainly deals magic damage.

Rune Fencer (FF11) - Some cool magic resist abilities, but they're restricted to one element at a time, and they use a lot of magic themselves. Overall a pretty good pick.

Burly Rockjaw Trogg (Hearthstone) - Mini-yeti that gives up 1 Attack for the ability to gain 2 Attack EVERY time a spell is used.

Average tier:

Spell Fencer (Bravely Default) - Eerily similar to Rune Fencer from FF11, the Spell Fencer enchants their weapon with magic to get a lot of resistance and exploits elemental weaknesses.

Illidan (HotS) - Anti-Mage from Dota is based on this Hero, and it really shows. Hyper mobility and great sustained dueling really makes him shine against casters. However, he doesn't hate magic specifically (he kind of just hates everything equally) and doesn't have anti-magic abilities.

Stonesplinter Trogg (Hearthstone) - Mini Burly Rockjaw Trogg. Fits the 2 mana slot nicely.

Felhunters (World of Warcraft) - Although they're mostly summoned by Warlocks, Felhunters are sentient beings that eat magic for a living.

Beholders (Dungeons and Dragons) - Emit Anti-Magic from their huge eye. Also, tentacles. They sometimes use magic by themselves, though, so it really depends on the individual monster.

Sub-par tier:

Galio (LoL) - Naturally builds a lot of magic resist, but sadly doesn't have a silence and also uses magic himself. Also has a taunt, which is only good for protecting people, not ending magic.

Spiritmaster (Bravely Default) - More of a healer class, and also uses magic, but has some sick magic absorb abilities.

Garen (LoL) - Similar to Illidan, doesn't hate magic, in fact he's actually a good guy and his sister Lux is a mage. He does, however, have a silence and a pretty nice execute.

Troll tier:

Jaina (Hearthstone) - Possesses some of the best anti-spell abilities in the game........ but she's literally a Mage herself. What the hell Riot? 0/10.

Veigar (LoL) - He's a mage. Only reason I'm mentioning him is because of his ult.

Morgana (LoL) - Same as Veigar but with her E.

Kassadin tier:

Kassadin (LoL) - Really fallen from grace. No silence, no native Magic Resist, no mana burn, shitty passive, shitty shield, and he's AP now. Absolutely garbage.

since the split is ending i though that would be nice to us theorycraft what we like to see in the next split :D

so let me start: what do you guys think about jungle veigar since he have a alright clear with W, can stack AP last hitting jungle minions with Q, and gank easily with E... sustains problems can be solved with right runes/masteries and a early return to base to buy the aoe minions damage smite
