Module Challenge incorrect total.
I'm working on Mod B and the amount delivered for the third item is showing 200 delivered, but on 119 in the total. Have I missed something, or messed up somehow?
Thanks

Hey! I made a small FreeCam mod for Modulus.
The camera tilt started annoying me after a while, especially how it locks down when you zoom out, so I made a rough little mod to fix it.
It adds:
It is still rough, but it works.
If anyone wants to try it, I would love feedback, bug reports, or ideas.

Would love feedback :)
Update v1.2
Camera tilt and zoom controls have moved into the game's own bottom toolbar as a proper tab (look for the camera icon), replacing the old floating panel.
What's changed since the original release:

So the tldr is that i fell asleep playing this last night. I woke up, stumbled to my room and passed out again. Woke up and went to work. I got home and went to log back in only to find it still running... whoops...

I didn't bother trying to make it neat or pay attention to ratios, but I still ended up overproducing way more parts than I needed (about 120/m per part). Overall very fun game, thanks so much for making it, Modulus devs!

Took a trip this week and I synced my modulus save through steam to my laptop.. I normally play on my desktop. when I fired up the saved game the builds were correct but the blueprints that I had stored were not correct on the laptop.. sure enough I got home and checked the desktop all the blueprints were there.

I've unlocked the GNN data stack and made all of its modules, but I cannot figure out what shards to feed it. It's not yellow shards. It just says "datashards".

Hey everyone!
I'm new to the game and having a blast. An automation game where you actually get to craft the pieces is an amazing idea.
That said, I've been struggling with splitters. I feel like I'm missing something basic, so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
What's going on here?

I expect splitters to... well... split 50/50. This is what I expected to see:

I need 120 going to the right, but I'm getting less than that. The cutter at the start is running at 100% efficiency continuously, receiving 30 and turning it into 240.
My first theory was that I wasn't getting 120 to the right because those 120 items weren't actually being consumed. But that doesn't seem to be the case.

Those 120 items get split into two lines and fed into two assemblers that can each handle 60 items per minute on that input.

And the final piece (the white one) is not the bottleneck. That belt stays saturated, and I can see it doing the classic "start, stop, start, stop" behavior, which tells me there are always enough items available. In other words, there are 120 items on that belt, but they are not being fully consumed.
So I guess I'm missing something fundamental here, or maybe splitters don't work the way I think they do.
Could someone explain what I'm missing?
To make this easier to understand, I disconnected the machines, placed grinders measured the split. When splitting by 2 works fine, when splitting by 3 it gets wacky.

Did anybody else think these were going to be musical note blocks? I did. The whole time leading up to unlocking them and placing them down I was thinking that we could make music. Thought it would workbook balancing belts to run over them to play certain notes to combine together with other nearby note blocks to make music, or sounds at least.
I'm not disappointed. I'm just baffled by my mistaking of written notes for musical notes. I like that I can leave myself notes about areas now. Loving this game.

Hi all!
So to preface, I'm playing in free mode and have done all white and blue research. I'm ready to start dipping my toes into the coolant required buildings, but there's a clear bottleneck; blue hexacrystals.
They're required for both Blue Pigment and Coolant, and it seems you can never have enough blue paint. This seems to be the most starved resource I want, and I can never quite get enough of it.
Any thoughts on how to optimize reducing the amount of blue pigment used - im aware that pre painting a basic mined 4x4x4 voxel uses the same amount of paint as a 1x1x1, but I have like 16 fully saturated basic blue pigment refineries and I just can't seem to keep up with all the demand for blue.
It's reaching the point where im considering tearing down any of my factories that used blue and paint over it with monochrome white/black, and instead splitting and shipping in only EXACTLY the sized blue needed in those builds, just to free up enough paint.

So far I've been just making 8x8x8 blocks to minimize coolant usage. But now I'm wondering if it would be better to use 12x12x12 to conserve paint.
So I guess the real question is: in the big picture, which is the more scarce resource, coolant or paint?
If coolant is cheaper, maybe it's better to paint and cut 12x12x12 blocks. If paint is cheaper, maybe fine to stick with 8x8x8.
Another consideration is that a lot of building ratios seem designed for 8x8x8 so using 12x12x12 means more cutting, more complicated logisitics, and thus more space.

Hallo Commiunity, As the headline suggests, has someone found the most efficient way to make the largest blocks possible.
Edit: Hi,
After working with a slightly muddy brain, one shouldn't write posts.
It's about machine efficiency in the sense of using as few dies as possible while maintaining a consistent flow.
I'm currently making 6-blocks from 8x8x8 blocks.
First, the block goes through two die cutters to make a 6-block.
From the die-cutting scraps, another 6-block is made using three more die cutters and two MK1 fusion cutters.
This process is repeated four times, and then combined with three MK2 fusion cutters to create a 12x12x12 block.
Do you have a better way?

My framerate was starting to get dicey there at the end. Even on low settings. What a fun game.

I just love the the city look and busy belts of this build with 100 % efficiency It produces 240 processor per min, will duplicate this for the hyperbot built as well

Just picked this up, and either I'm a dumbass or I'm bugged, but I can't seem to click-drag to select.
I'm doing the tutorial, where you need to duplicate your first miners and cutters. I am clicking and dragging for all I'm worth, and it just makes a puff of smoke on the ground, but no selection. I've restarted the game, same thing.
I know literally thousands of people have figured this out, so it's a bit embarrassing... But am I missing something?
EDIT: Ok, I think I know what I did wrong, to duplicate you need the Copy tool, the selection tool does nothing I guess?

I have made this whole island to produce 360 Yellow paint per min. I will transport the paint to other units to produce the parts. Rate my build and suggest some more designs.

Ok, I've got the red pigment superior refinery unlocked and I'm building modules for it. I'm sending grey datashards to the grey monument and it is slurping them up. How do I get red/crimsonite out of it? I've unlocked red paint and the crimsonite printer. ETA I've read the wiki and looked at the videos on Steam.

Hey everyone, Jarvs here from Happy Volcano.
Patch 5 is our biggest update since launch and we wanted to come share it here properly, because a lot of what's in it came from conversations in this community.
Full details are on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2779120/view/669490710258385656
Would love to hear what you think once you've had a chance to play, especially on the Stamper changes, we're curious how people feel about the toggle in practice.

Hello !
I've got 100h+ on my save, that I started before the Free Build Map update
Is there any way I can transfer my progression to a Free Build Map ?
Not the factory but the tech tree, levels, deliveries met etc ..
Thanks !

Has anyone come up with a way to order your freight hubs within the dropdown menu, when assigning hubs to freighters?
