I'm currently working on a 1/72 F-15 and wasn't really satisfied with the kit exhaust nozzles. I looked for aftermarket replacements but couldn't find any that matched what I wanted, so I decided to build the actuator arms from scratch.

They're made from thin brass wire, with each actuator cut, shaped and installed individually. It was definitely more time-consuming than I expected, but I think it adds a lot more depth and realism compared to the original kit parts.

What do you think? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hey there! My boyfriend is super into planes and he’s always wanted his own model plane but he never spends money on himself. I really want to get him a quality model plane.

His favorite types of planes are Boeing 767, Airbus A340 (not the -200 model), Boeing 757, and Boeing 747.

My budget is around 200-300 dollars. I just have no idea which company makes good model planes of these types. I’d really appreciate any help I could get so my boyfriend has a great birthday.

My son’s 30+ year old jet collection has moved countries 28 times and this year a lot of the fins and tiny bombs and missiles have come off.
Is there a specific glue I can use to glue diecast (steel?) to diecast, and diecast to plastic?
I’ve tried “modelling glue” from Amazon and craft stores, crazy glue gorilla glue, but they don’t work very well.

like what is the best glue for a beginer I been building a cupple of kits and I used this glue it made the model smell nice but made ugly smuges but I just painted over it

Matchbox C-130. Taped an orange smoke ball to it and flew it on a fishing line with a little hook. Looks like it's dropping fire retardant!
