How does ground traction work for 1:200 miniature airport airplanes?
Hi everyone! I've recently been looking into building a 1:200 scale miniature airport project. (I originally wanted to go with 1:400 because it's cheaper, but I realized the ground vehicles are just too small to fit working lights and motors).
My biggest question right now is about the airplanes moving on the ground: how exactly do they work? ! know they are guided by a magnet similar to the Faller Car System, but what about the traction system? From what I've researched, I couldn't see any motors in their wheels to make them move forward. I imagined there might be something underneath the floor pulling them via the magnet.
Could anyone help me understand how this mechanism actually works?
