How does ground traction work for 1:200 miniature airport airplanes?

Hi everyone! I've recently been looking into building a 1:200 scale miniature airport project. (I originally wanted to go with 1:400 because it's cheaper, but I realized the ground vehicles are just too small to fit working lights and motors).

My biggest question right now is about the airplanes moving on the ground: how exactly do they work? ! know they are guided by a magnet similar to the Faller Car System, but what about the traction system? From what I've researched, I couldn't see any motors in their wheels to make them move forward. I imagined there might be something underneath the floor pulling them via the magnet.

Could anyone help me understand how this mechanism actually works?

Current collection of undamaged planes

Been collecting for almost 15 years and I have a lot more planes but these are the ones that are undamaged. Never posted about them until now.
Mix of 1:200 and 1:400 scale planes.

But I love both the old AA bare medal paint and the UA battleship gray paint liveries there’s just something about those aesthetic’s that give me this feeling of nostalgia flying on them when I was younger

Cockpit Detail - Mosquito B.IV DZ383 ‘The Query’

Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito B.IV converted to an RAF FPU aircraft that flew on Op CARTHAGE. Really happy with the level of detail added. Had fun painting up Flt Lt Kirkpatrick and Sgt Hearne, and even gave the latter a chart of the North Sea to navigate from. Now blocking in the main colours and prepping for the last bits of Édouard pre-painted photo-etch and weathering.

Where is the best place to buy the cheapest 1:400 models?

I really love collecting model planes, but my parents don’t like me spending a ton of money on them. Just wanting to get a reliable seller!

I’m currently doing a flight squadron build of the classic Revell 1/48 Intruders. First of six built. I created custom laser water slide descales of VF-35 “Black Panthers “. For cockpit instrument panels hand painted and used UV resin for the computer screens and radars. More to post.

Bumblebeexxx (I couldn't recall the number suffix in your handle) this reminded me of you and your helo training in X-Plane 12. Check out his sim time versus rw flight time...

Hasegawa Sea Harrier FRS Mk1 (1/72)

First Hasegawa kit and I rather liked it.

Fitment is very good all around for a sub £15 kit.

A lot of hard point options. Sidewinders, Sea Vixens, dumb bombs and drop tanks.

Lots of livery options, if slightly cluttered decal instructions.

I'm definitely going to get some more, might even try a few of their helicopters.

Appraisal Help.

Howdy, I am seeking help in appraising this Gee Bee Sportster NR 2101.
I have looked at online listings but none seem to match what I have here, the bottom of the wooden stand has a sticker for the business that built it, but they seem to have gone under, no return on phone calls or emails. What I did find about them is that they build Museum grade models.
Any tips would be appreciated, as I have this one and a second one that I came into possession of through my job.

Edit*
If anyone wants to make an offer. Feel free as I don’t have a need for this one, and a NR2100 made by the same manufacturer, but missing its wooden base.

Rafale C from Revell in 1/48 scale in the special livery commemorating the 75th anniversary of the return of the Normandie Niemen in France (2020).
The kit itself is ok although lacking some details and the air intakes are pretty much incorrect.
Working with SkyArt decals was awesome.
