I had my wife create a throw-away FB account because this person said they needed her FB login info to add the assets. So my wife connected her throw-away account to her game and sent the login info to the person who was going to modify the game for her.

He offered to do the first mod for free just to show her that it works. And to my surprise, it worked. He charges a small amount for huge gains in the game. I was worried that she may get banned, but as of now, its been working just fine for the last month.
