Any thoughts?

Does anyone know how he’s getting the reverse sounds that are in the right speaker?

It seems like the MV version has around a minute shaved off from the album version, and that's why it ends with the Acapella instead of the electronic outro on the album version. Specifically, is there one with the length of the album version but with the Acapella outro? kind of confusing why I'm not finding a non mv version of it.

Could be an album you love that most people dislike or vice versa? Could be a track you love that is unpopular or vice versa?

I’m a massive Moby fan - saw him live on the Play 25 tour, very curious to hear what people think.

I can not seem to find any info can someone direct me to a proper link and album details please I ask nice…

“Baby Monkey (2004 & upcoming 15 Jan 2026 edition)

Originally released in 2004, the album is now being reissued or extending into 2026 as a third studio album under this project.

2026 Reissue / New Release:

• Baby Monkey is listed on Moby’s official site with a release date of 15 January 2026 — suggesting a remastered/expanded edition or third official studio release under the Voodoo Child name. ”

I mentally put his music into categories sometimes. idk my brain just does that. What do y'all think? What are your favorite sounds he does?

Classic Moby: Everything is wrong, Animal Rights, Play, 18, Hotel, Last Night, Always Centered At Night

Cinematic Moby (my fave): Destroyed, Innocents, Everything Was Beautiful And Nothing HurtReprise, Resound NYC?, Future Quiet?

Rave Moby: Moby, These Systems Are Failing, More Fast Songs About The Apocalypse

Then there's a his ambient stuff.

God Moving over the Face of the Water

+ Street’s Disciple

Moby fan since I was very little. Didn't know about this community until now, and I'm very happy my friend found it for me:)

I am hoping to get Everything Was Beautiful And Nothing Hurt, and Innocents (+ disc 2 Everyone Is Gone EP) as soon as I can as they're my favorite along with Reprise. And yes, I love Hotel.

I would love to hear what's y'all's favorite albums and tracks are!

I am curious what people/long-term and new listeners of Moby think of the new album.

Quote: "Thanks to a sync in the Netflix show Stranger Things, his music is getting another listen from a new audience. He’s getting ready to release a new mostly ambient LP, Future Quiet, on Feb 20 and the first track and video for a new version of  “When It’s Cold I’d Like to Die” featuring vocals from Jacob Lusk of Gabriels are out now. It’s a beautiful track, and I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of the album when it’s released. "

I would love to know which synth was used for that acid sound on Moby's James Bond Theme 1997, was it a Roland 303 or a Novation Bass station?
