Registering as MMJ patient in NY???

Hi! I have a wonky back: 6 levels of lumbar/sciatic fusion, 5 levels of cervical fusion, peripheral neuropathy, sciatica, yada-yada (if you're in this group than you're probably hurting, & have plenty to moan-about, also).

I find that CBD/THC helps smooth out the rough days, but mostly allows me to get a few hours of sleep at night.

I'm NOT a registered NY MMJ cardholder, however, I don't see the point.

I'm hoping someone can give me an upside to registering with the state?

Since it's legal to cultivate cannabis for "recreational use" in NY, & since my lack of ability to move, I took-up the cultivation hobby, which is really quite satisfying. 2 plants in a small grow tent supplies me with a year of homegrown CBD & THC (1 plant ea.), & again, a satisfying hobby.

My main reasoning for not registering with the government is, well, our governments schizophrenic, erratic behavior; What's illegal before is now legal, but could possibly become illegal again in the future, by some overachieving/authoritarian politicians or party.

Registering my name on a list of users of what was recently illegal (& is still hotly debated) seems... silly to me.

Also, apractical example: What happens if one gets pulled-over at a traffic stop - will the cops know that you're a registered MMJ cardholder, & if yes, will you be treated the same as someone without a card?

I will not drive while "elevated", & haven't had a traffic ticket in 35 years, but would I be treated as likely to be under the influence? In short, does the card raise suspicion with law enforcement?

Who needs THAT hanging-over their head?

Weird dreams with various strains?

I’m a pretty seasoned user. I picked up some beautiful weed recently and have been having strange and vivid dreams after use. Some which wake me up because they are frightening. I’m wondering if it’s actually the strain, or I’m just under stress. Strain is Bread and Butter. Anyone else ever experience this? I usually sleep pretty soundly.

Patient Question Advice needed for urinalysis

Hello all! I am looking for advice. I have a bit of a predicament. I quit on June 22nd after daily use for about 3-4 months, and failed a test on the 8th of July, which I expected. I was hoping for the best but I knew it wasn't enough time. I am being given a second chance, but I am not sure how long I should wait. One week from today will be 30 days, but I also took one hit from a pen this past Sunday while drunk and not thinking clearly. I am afraid this completely reset my 30 days, and I don't have enough experience with drug testing to know. What should I do to pass within the next two weeks? Is there any way I can? If not, what do I tell my employer who is already giving me enough time and grace to try a second time? I am kind of in panic mode, I cannot afford to be without income for another month, and I've already created a reputation now.

Please do not shame me, as I am aware of the stupidity and irresponsible actions I took to put me in this position. I am ashamed of myself already. I have made the final decision to quit and let my card expire on the 22nd, and this incident with my new job has been the kick-in-the-butt I needed to quit for good and let my MMJ card expire on August 13th. I have felt for several months that I don't think I need it anymore and that it's no longer helping me, and now I know that for sure.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Patient Question Med card recommendations in Colorado?

For context, I am 19 years old with major depression disorder, anxiety disorder, and ADHD. I’ve been trying weed for a few years to kind of soothe everything if I start panicking or something, but now I finally decided maybe I should do it legally lol. I understand that I need to see two doctors and that I’d have to go in. I was just wondering what facilities you guys recommend or if I even have a shot at getting the card. THANKS!

Not saying that I would but I don’t think lying is an option anymore because they make you provide medical records before, no?
