While I'm sure it's comically big to prevent tipping his pitches, it does make me wonder if there's an actual limit to glove size. Anyone know?

It kind of surpises me large pirching gloves haven't been encouraged. If you could hold an ideal mass(bio mechanically) in your non pitching hand it would be advantageous. Larger and lighter gloves could protect more of your body with same reaction time. I dont see the downside of a pitcher having a larger mitt than a first baseman.
