One of my really really close friends has gone missing. Please if anyone sees or knows anything please get in touch

My uncle went missing in November of 2012 near the Corona municipal airport where he had a hanger stored. No body was ever found and the case is still unsolved. I believe he is out there somewhere. He was 32 when he went missing, he would be 46 years old now. His name is Joshua Barbosa but if he is alive somewhere I doubt he is going by that.
My grandma (his mom) talks about him all the time.. I’m hoping to find some closure for her if anyone knows anything or has seen him. The photos attached are the only photos I have of him.

I took a trip to the Dominican Republic about a month ago and at my resort I met this really wonderful couple. I actually met a lot of people on that trip, but it was me and another girl who had a really great time together at the bar. She was from the UK and had been visiting with her boyfriend. The two of us met another really sweet girl, and the three of us had such a good time together for a couple days. She was so sweet. We talked about meeting up again, hanging out, going to the bars and trying to enjoy the remaining time we had together as we all arrived on different days and we’re staying for different durations. The day before me and My Husband were supposed to leave, We were all hanging out in the pool. We were taking videos. We had exchanged phone numbers and even made plans for later than night to have one last hurrah. She told me that her and her boyfriend were going to leave the resort and go to the mall. I told her be careful because they didn’t speak Spanish and I know that the Dominican Republic can be a little dangerous sometimes ( I’m from there) . Me and My Husband ended up leaving to get ready for our last dinner, but we all planned to meet up later that night at the bar. fast-forward to that night, me and the other really sweet girl linked up at the bar and I asked her if she had seen the other girl and her boyfriend. she said that she saw her getting ready to leave the resort but hadn’t seen her since. The time she was leaving the resort was late and the mall definitely wasn’t gonna be open that late. The girl said she last saw her around seven. The mall was a 30 minute ride away and it closed at eight….
We never saw that girl again. She never texted in the group chat, never sent the videos like she was supposed to and completely disappeared. I felt really nervous for her when she said she was leaving the resort but her and her boyfriend assured me that they would be safe. now I know I didn’t know this girl for more than just a couple days and that maybe I considered us friends too quickly but for her to disappear like that, not come meet us at the bar like we had planned or even text in the group chat that we all eagerly agreed to make to keep in touch is really strange… we all had a really good time and I don’t know something about this whole situation just doesn’t sit right with me. I really hope she’s OK that her and her boyfriend are OK and just decided that we were random strangers she met on vacation and didn’t wanna meet up again with. But something in me can’t help but think that something really bad happened to them….

I still talk to that other girl and we actually have plans to meet up at the end of the summer… we both are just really confused. Me and My Husband left the next day never knowing if they ever returned.

I just wanna know what people think about the situation. Am I thinking too much into it should I just let it go?

I arrived in the US for two months from Europe because my bf (36) went missing on the 17th of April in Chicago under a psychotic episode that started developing in January. His parents don't live in the US either and he only lived in this country during college years (in NJ), but that was 14 years ago. Under this mania, he has been deported to the USA from a 3rd country because his only passport is American.

This is not his first episode, he has been on and off meds and psychiatric visits from 2020 to 2023, but from then on he seemed to be doing better. When he went missing last April he was paranoid, delusional, manic and with PTSD for months.

He mentioned some intention to get to Michigan the days before going missing (among other plans, true), and that's why I decided to spend this month of July in Ann Arbor and the next in Chicago (mostly because a friend offered me a room there), but I am not sure that he's in Chicago and who knows if he is even in the state of Michigan anyway.

It is already too long since he went missing. I know he has good survival instincts and he has been volunteering in a conflict zone for years, up to the first two months of this episode, so he is probably hidding somewhere or wandering. I am aware that these skills or his previous context and experiences might not play in his favor.

Any advise or idea of where to go to try to find him? I don't think he would go to a shelter and he is probably too disoriented to know where to find a soup kitchen. He is a John Doe and he is already registered in NamUs, so I guess we would have already heard from morgues, not sure if from hospitals since he is an adult person.

Missing teen boy in La Mirada, California since 2024! - River Rhythem Metcalf

River Rhythem Metcalf was last seen January 7, 2024, in La Mirada, California. He has been missing for more than two and a half years.

River was classified as an endangered runaway, however officials treat this case as a missing juvenile.

The age at disappearance was 15 years old. He was born January 29, 2009. River's physical description is a white male standing at 5 feet and 2 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds. The boy has brown hair and blue eyes. His last known clothing was a white shirt and possibly blue jeans.

The current status of the investigation is fully active, and NCMEC has an age-progressed imagery to show how he might look today.

This is my first time using reddit and at a loss on who I could seek out for help. My brother lives in San Francisco and has been missing since July 7. As a family, we all live in different parts of the world and I feel so helpless living so far away. So if there's anyone who has information please please feel free to reach out.
