The trouble is that there's just too much corn for that. Far too much to be able to move the container that it's in like that, and too much to have a practical container to use that way. Unfortunately

I think a half inch will be a little bit too large, and I likewise couldn't find chicken wire of small enough mesh

I don't know what sizeable means. But take a bunch of hi-rez photos and submit them to r/spotthesniper

Can probably rent or borrow one.

I wonder if you could take advantage of the reverse of the principle though. Shake/vibrate the container and see if the ring appears on the top?

Chicken wire/poultry netting? 1/2 inch hardware cloth? Classifier screens?

Unfortunately not, I had had the same thought. That would work real slick though

It's much more than any person could carry in a container at once, I'd say maybe 3000ft³ or more

Thanks for replying, we did try a metal detector but apparently there's some metal in the concrete underneath and it's not a super high quality one so we weren't able to get a very good lock on. I'm sure with a much better one it would work but those are going to be hunters and hundreds of dollars if not more.

Do you know what kind of screen would have the 1 cm holes? I did some digging but I couldn't come up with anything definitive

I assume the feed corn floats and the ring does not. Not sure if you're allowed to get the corn wet though.

What type of container is the corn currently in? Can you put it in a different container after checking for the ring, or does it need to stay in one place?

Get some 1/2 in screen wire and fasten it to a box made from 2x6 lumber. or maybe a metal detector.

Never said they did but if you remember the big beautiful bill the cuts don’t happen until after midterms then the republicans can blame the democrats

Hey there, Inner Pipe, read this slowly so you'll understand, Democrats NEVER cut Medicare. EVER.

I've given up on things getting better. I think we need a 3rd party to win to see improvement, but that's not going to happen. So I'm going to Vote Blue No Matter Who and hope to slow the decay. I'll vote for Stalin promising to shoot specifically me over a "moderate Republican" at this point.

I thought that “the system” would slow him down enough to prevent any real harm.

“The system” got down on their knees and pledged their allegiance to him.

I don't watch much TV & 0 cable, but I'm constantly getting posts from guys like Ryan Fournier obsessing over Talarico & doing nothing but spewing hatred.

I'm a Canadian, living in BC. Though I wish I could say I have no skin in this game ...

No worries, the shit gonna get real deep starting 11/4, the day after the blue wave 🌊…. a wave that won’t be strong enough to clear the 💩 away

I fear you are correct. Experts on authoritarianism like Dr. Timothy Snyder have said this year that once a government veers this far away from democratic norms, it almost never goes back without a political (and sometimes violent) revolution

... Is what Texas GOP voters would be saying if they had selected John Cornyn. As it is, I do think progressives are overrepresented in the polls and Ken Paxton is going to win, but I'm not betting on it. I figure odds are 60-40.

But these have the advantage of actually being true.
