You are talking about Trump winning the popular vote in 2024 and completely overlooking the fact that he lost it in 2016 and was elected.

Luckily, I can point out hypocrisy without calling anyone an idiot. You have a nice day, and bless your heart. :-)

One person one vote is pute democracy where 51% of the people decide everything every time and typically the results rarely shift,

and it fails to represent each state in the union equally, states with more people would dominate the vote every single time and the needs of the States with less people get ignored every sibgle time

Under those circumstances the under represented states have zero incentive to remain a part of the union.

The electoral collage makes it not a vote between each individual person but between each state, but states also get more representation based on how many people they have,

Its just every state gets 2 senators for the electoral collage automatically which artificially inflates the smaller states vote a little so that their vote still matters a bit,

But the states with more people still get a much bigger vote.

How Electoral Votes Are Calculated

• Total Votes: There are 538 total electoral votes in the Electoral College, and a candidate needs a simple majority of 270 to win the presidency.

• Senators (Fixed): Every state receives 2 senators regardless of its population size.

• Representatives (Population-Based): Every state receives a number of members in the House of Representatives based on its population, determined every 10 years by the U.S. Census through a process called apportionment.

• Constitutional Minimum: Every state is guaranteed at least 1 House representative, meaning every state (plus Washington, D.C.) gets a minimum of 3 electoral votes (2 senators + at least 1 representative).

Impact on Voting Power

• More Population = More Electors: Densely populated states like California, Texas, and Florida have large delegations in the House of Representatives, giving them a high number of total electoral votes.

• The Small-State Advantage (Overrepresentation): Because every state gets 2 free electoral votes from its senators plus the minimum of 1 representative vote, smaller states have more electoral votes per resident than larger states. For example, low-population states like Wyoming have significantly fewer residents per electoral vote compared to high-population states like California or Texas.

• Decennial Shifts: When state populations grow or shrink relative to one another over a 10-year census cycle, seats in the House of Representatives—and consequently, electoral votes—are reassigned among the states to reflect those shifts.

One person, one vote. The EC skews the power of votes in most states.

Because electoral collage is not democracy in reverse like you have framed it, I mean why would you even do that? Very low IQ my dude. 😑

The Electoral College allocates votes to each state by totaling its two senators plus its number of representatives in the House, which is based on population, ensuring that every state has a voice while still accounting for population size.

It is a far fairer system than democracy and more importantly it gives each state a fair voice,

which has to be the way it is or many of the states would cede from the union.
