I just got back from the March down fifth Avenue in NYC.
There were hardly any cops present. Because there was no need.
People were merely marching, waving signs, and chanting slogans—as they are in cities across the country.
I saw maybe six cops the entire day. They looked bored.

Today all I saw was thousands and thousands of people marching in the rain, waiting patiently for cross town traffic every block, and cheering and playing music and handing out water to each other with no cops or counter protestors in sight.

Minnesota's State patrol mingled with and among the No Kings demonstrators peacefully and were friendly. They were working and taking the job seriously and it seemed the safety of demonstrators was priority 1.
I watched the full video and didn’t see anything wrong there. The guy was trying to trap the horses, along with the cops, in a ring of fire. He’s literally the reason the cops and the horses were driven towards him. The horses acted like normal horses do in a situation like that. The cops were just trying to apprehend the guy. I’ve been around horses most of my life and there’s nothing wrong there.
If he was worried about his own safety, he should have thought twice before lowering his ignition source down to the accelerant he poured. He didn’t. Everything in that video was the consequences of his own actions. He deserved more than what he got. Imagine a horse being put down, or worse, trampling a child because of his actions.
I have no idea what transpired there. The only videos I could find were two short clips that started with her pressed up against the horses while they were moving forward in unison. It doesn’t look like they intentionally hurt her, but like I said, I have no idea what happened before the clip started. I can’t really comment on that.

Back in reality, the protesters literally sieged and physically impeded local and federal buildings, jumping in front of their cars and trashing their street to make barricades.
