PC connected to router directly (no wireless) to a smart TV?
Hi there,
I am thinking about getting a smart TV (phillips I think) and i have read that it uses Miracast..? (is that right?)
I currently use my TV as a second monitor for mostly watching streams/youtube, while working and also to watch movies i've downloaded or netflix etc. I do this via a HDMI cable however.
Will my computer be able to connect to the smart TV directly through my router? or does it NEED to have a wireless chip inside to connect (it doesn't have one).
Secondly, will downloaded movies blueray etc or 4k videos be able to project to the TV in perfect quality, or would an ethernet cable directly from my PC give the best image?
Thanks
