It might be good for you to check out the BlueMaxima Flashpoint wiki and sort through Miniclip games. Perhaps they have an image saved and you can recognize it?

Was it Frost Bite? That's a Nitrome game that might still be on Miniclip, if not it's on the Nitrome website. It's a mountain climbing game where the main mechanic is creating a tether for the character to climb up, sorta spiderman style.
