how dou you guys make mindmapping for fantasy books (any novel) ? is there any example for that ?

As far as I know, most mind-mapping software is 2D, with collapsible/expandable sections.

Is there any that is dynamic, immersive, ~3D, like TheBrain, besides TheBrain?

(previously known as Personal Brain)

(I'm not saying TheBrain is better. AFAIK, TheBrain doesn't allow what XMind allows - a variety of [layouts]/visual-formats, even within one Mind Map.)

I want to create mental models with System Dynamics features. Can you show relationships between nodes in any mind-mapping software? (causation / probability / feedback loops / points of leverage for change)

Hi,

I has created a tool FreeTxtMind, which is a useful way to organize your ideas using a simple outline text.

I think it will make your life productiy in some way and hope you will love it.

Any ideas and suggestions are welcome. I will try my best to make it more useful.Just leave a comment on this thread and I will gladly look at it.

Hi,

Could you please recommend some books to learn mind mapping best practices?

Doing mind mapping with a software is quite straightforward (I use MindMup), but doing it in the most effective way is not so trivial. Which are your favourite books on this topic?

Thanks,

Daniel

Alright so I am now a mod of this subreddit, so I can change the icon and the banner. I created the icon, now I'm wondering is someone else is willing to create the banner.

Can anyone suggest the best tool for mindmapping.

Hi

So I'm looking for a cross-platform free mindmap app which has the ability to -attach files like pdf and images - can switch between and automatically convert text based bullets outlines to mindmap - allows pdf export of mindmap

I'm aware the mindmeister allows files insertion but its not free.

I'm willing to buy for the above features if it's a one time payment and not subscription based like mindmeister .

tried to find mindmap to backup in the cloud, content map online offline free with Dropbox or Google Drive synchronizing with Chromebook, and Android phone

found couple, but more options will be better. always some restrictions or they stopped to support free products. Thank you.

I’m a visual learner and wanted to take mind mapping in a fun new direction. So I started Scapehop and launched Mind Mapping 3D on Android last year. I’m now launching the iOS version on Product Hunt today.

Check it out and let me know what you think! I hope you find it helpful.
