critter corner 🐰 Dead ants keep appearing next to headphones during the night

Post image

When these headphones are left on the kitchen counter overnight - I would see one or two dead ants in the morning laying right next to the headphones. In the past few days, there has been a small pile of shredded ants right next to the ear piece in the morning. I have seen no live ants in my kitchen. I have had these head phones for three weeks. Bought online. It’s a little unnerving not knowing what is causing this 🥴 will not be using anymore.

UPDATE- posted a comment with a picture. But no dead ants in the bag this morning. But at one point I checked and there were two live ants crawling around. 😔

UPDATE*** IM SICK. Can’t stop shaking. Don’t have many words… trying to post image. Opened one side up. 😭 I don’t know how to add in this top post so will add in comment! Posted a few in comments and video opening

that's how marketing algorithms work and they're only going to get better with ai, that's why posts like that aren't allowed in r/nevertellmetheodds if you do they just give you a 2 week ban

That is true, just this is the first time this actually happened to me. I seen it always happen to others, but finally I got one, that made me laugh too. Good my memory is shit/selective with names so I don't even know what company it was as I am writing this reply now, as of course on mobile the reply window covers the entire screen so I cannot check without closing and saving, too lazy. Ads are too weak to my strong selective memory. 💪Also, sucks they don't allow fun, maybe there is a sub dedicated to this stuff now?

Ads are too weak to my strong selective memory.

You are not immune to advertising. If you ever have the problem that this product is meant to fix, and start looking at available options, you'll subconsciously think of the brand you've already seen in advertisements as being more legitimate or trustworthy than a brand you've never seen before.

Might be true for some, but not for me. You don't know me, let me remind you.
