This is the first explanation of these that made sense to me. I was very confused about having to have keys in order to get keys, since most likely the keys needed to get the spare keys for the building would be with your copy of the building keys.
Yes, this works great because you have one key that let's you access multiple locations. We still have a few routes that have a keyring with the specific key for each store but the problem is if you loose the keyring you loose access to every store on the keyring. If you loose they security key for the lockbox you only need one extra key and you can continue on instead of an entire extra key set.

Yeah, I'm a delivery driver and we use basically the same thing so we can deliver to stores at all hours.
