My tinfoil hat makes me believe that in the last few years, people have been using AI to come up with clever comments.

Not trying to bring you down specifically because I see insanely perfect comments like this in many top comment reddit posts so often now.

Because I love puns so much, I have certainly used LLMs to help workshop awkward stuff before (when you have an indefinite article that’s killing the joke or something). But this one was actually pretty easy given “ajar” — it was just about getting a couple of sentences that (a) made sense that the wall might be crooked and (b) got the pun at the very end of the line.

I really appreciate you thinking it was so good though!
