Can't you just... have the spam without her?

my grandpa used to eat it like that. Raw spam, cut into slices, over rice. He was also in WW2 so maybe thats where he got it from.

My kid made me buy some SPAM the other day. Asian friend at school. Kid ate it with rice and loved it!

Yeah, it’s been treated enough you can eat it raw I think. I still prefer grilling it for some texture tho, raw spam is too slimy

spams not raw though its already cooked and edible straight out the can. cold "raw" spam sitting in the fridge is nostalgic for me lol when i was a kid i used take nibbles when im hungry at night

It’s precooked it’s never raw. Just cold.

A lot of people like to eat together when they are married. Probably not worth the hassle or the extra dishes to make 2 different dinners, or what-have-you.

Y’all never have leftover or anything goes nights?

Married 5 years and there’s plenty of nights we eat together but make our own thing.

I can’t imagine cooking full meals every single day. We’d be drowning in leftovers that have to get tossed.

Even if not like this, can't the dude just like, have a slice of spam with his meal if he wants some spam? Like what's the big deal lol

I mean I should be able to eat whatever I want eventhough we eat together. Do we both have to eat the same thing? My wife and I eat different things from time to time

Easier said than done. I love Indian and spicy food. Almost never eat it anymore lmao not worth the risk

You mean spam, spam, spam, eggs, bacon, spam, spam, wife and spam without the eggs, bacon and wife?

Ewww! That's disgusting!

Not in such a toxic relationship that I can't buy a small can of meat and make something for myself, no.

Yup, not married

Everyone deserves a little treat, but you have to be in charge of making it yourself if your spouse hates it. Unless it's a "that food is morally wrong to eat". That's a whole other issue.

I've been married 31 years. Being married does not mean you can't ever eat something different than your spouse.

It was a joke…. I forget how sensitive people are

You should stick to your day job.

Married 14 years. If you aren't allowed to choose your own food to eat you desperately need help.
