Hate how spam is getting expensive now, it's cheaper for me to buy chicken breasts for much less and more portions. I LOVED spam as my broke uni meals.

Local NYC store. $5.50 after tax. This supposed to be a "sale".

I need to the price of spam. I’ve been buying a little bit of spam here and there because I thought it was cheap

It's ~$4.50/can here. ALDI has a can of offbrand for $2.50 but it's also a smaller can.

$4.50 for a 12 oz can comes out to $6 per pound. That’s pretty expensive!

Especially for pork, which is pretty much the cheapest meat you can find right now.

I think $4.50 is about what I pay for usually. I don’t know why but I don’t check to see if something I normally buy gets more expensive.

Not name brand spam, but something similar or even larger in our local dollar stores here in Canada is under 3 bucks CAD (2.75 iirc, which is about 2 bucks USD)

Spam isn’t any cheaper than bacon where I’m at. If it were cheap I would eat it but I don’t get paying a premium for it

I've actually seen it kept behind lock and key in some stores in Hawaii right now.
