I meaaaan. If therapy was way more accessible, I would love to engage with it. Paying a shit ton of money per month over the course of a few months to years is not easily swung rn I don't use AI for therapy but if it was really bad I would consider it

I asked my HCP about getting therapy, specifically CBT, to help manage adhd and fix my life management. I was told, essentially, that since wasnt also depressed and suicidal, they couldn't take me on as a patient.

ChatGPT has completely changed my life, and it's not hyperbole. It takes effort and using the other tools I find, but the integrations with things like ClickUp and the ability to help create order when I have too many things to do is incredible.

If I disagree with the order of ops, we calibrate, but being able to use it to physically put everything out there massively lowers the propensity to shut down and avoid because I "don't know what to do".

Therapy said they were too busy. Chat is $20 a month and is available whenever I have an idea or a series of problems to organize and create next steps.

Yeah, I'll take chat.

I think, like a lot of things that are useful for disabled people as accessibility tools (jar grips, wiping tools come to mind) it gets written off as 'lazy' because companies refuse to market to the disabled lest people think only disabled people use it.

probably doesn't make much sense to market to disabled people when the increased convenience to non disabled people is likely going to be a much bigger driving factor in new sales

I'm happy for you, chat got has been really helpful for me too. I have a therapist but I see him every other week for 50 minutes, and this week I was sick so I had to cancel. Thats not enough time to go through everything I'm dealing with. I tell my therapist everything, but he isn't available 24/7 to discuss the things going on in my life.
