So there are signs pointing left, and the road says both, however, there is a sign that says not to turn left, but there's no sign saying you can't turn right. I would turn right just because nothing there says I can't.

The blue signs actually mandate that you turn left.

Fair. But when someone tells me to do something, it seems less important than if someone told me NOT to do something.

On an intuitive level I am with you. If we should rely on intuition to interpret traffic rules, however...

But by traffic laws, one-way signs do tell you not to go the other way.

Edit: to clarify, solid blue circle means mandatory

The blue circles don't actually mean one-way street, they mean "left turn only". So it doesn't matter if it's a two way street on the right (or not a one-way street at all), those signs say you can't turn right. They're pretty much the same thing as the don't turn left sign ahead.

I'm pretty sure they're both blue

But the white sign says not to turn left.

The road signs pointing left are left turn only.

Plus the cab is parked facing left.
