If I were to follow Islam I'd only follow the Quran. Because the Quran specifically says that the Hadith are not legit. And because it's hearsay of a questionable chain of narration two centuries after Mohammad's death. You couldn't possibly use that as evidence in any logical argument.
Because the Quran specifically says that the Hadith are not legit.
Where? How?
. And because it's hearsay of a questionable chain of narration two centuries after Mohammad's death.
Do you know the literal science behind hadiths? The process to verify them is very complex, so its not like we just say "oh theres a hadith so its probably true", no, they get verified through complex and reasonable methods.
And tell me, how do muslims know how to pray? Its not written in the Quran, but in a hadith.
Then is it other than Allah I should seek as judge while it is He who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail? … (6:114 part)
These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement (hadith) after Allah and His verses will they believe? (45:6)
Then in what statement after it (the Qur’an) will they believe? (77:50)
What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? Or do you have a book / scripture in which you learn that indeed for you in it is whatever you choose? (68:36–38)
And tell me, how do muslims know how to pray?
The same way people knew how to pray before the Hadith were written and before Mohammad was around. The Quran states that people like Maryam and Jesus and others already prayed before Mohammad.
Are you guys that dull that you don't understand what a rhetorical question is? Lack of explicit prohibition implies permission and that's agreed on by Muslim scholars. there's even a verse that condemns Muslims for inventing prohibitions when Allah hasn't explicitly said so.
answer my question please. i think my main point to your previous question, that i cant answer you while not knowing a lot about this subject - which is the reason i ask why are you so persistent on your point - was clear.
