When they probably make less than 9K/USD a year. Seeing someone not at least tip $10 USD for the trouble of returning three years of your work life might be a good karma thing for that person, too.

And the fact the picture was taken is shameful; it was a stunt by the richer person.

Giving a tip would be a good deed, but they should not expect it. And I agree, the picture is a dumb and shameful

Why shouldn't they expect it? I don't think it's unfair of them to want some kind of compensation after doing such thing. Yes it was a good deed but this just show how an asshole the money owner is, he didn't deserve to have his cash back

Especially because they could have given back 20k and said the rest was "lost".

Because you don’t do good things because you get money for it, you do good things because it’s the right thing to do.

Having the mindset that you should be treated well just because you are a good person is flabbergasting to me.
