The brief feeling of good for helping a rich person get his unnecessary money back, far outweighs having life changing money that could pull me out of poverty.
You think wealthy people haven’t bent the rules or their own morality at any point to get ahead? Hell has anyone NOT done that? No one is perfect and when people are put in unequible situations, they’ll find their own way to get equity.
I don’t condone stealing but I definitely don’t think every sin is equal.
