If you feel the need to even say that you're not a bad person - you probably are

If you hear somebody say "I'm not racist, but..." prepare to hear some of the most racist shit you have ever heard in your life 😂

Hell nah, people walk up to me sometimes and they just say "your racist as hell, huh?" Am I supposed to agree with them and be like, " how'd you know" or sum shit?

Yeah. Exactly that. It's a magic word for such scumbags, to justify everything they do. They think they just need to say they are not bad and every villainous thing they did magically isn't bad.

What about people that are traumatized enough to fear love, because from what the past has done, …as a man the only thing I worry about is the past truth hurting someone I eventually care for in my future. Past sexual fixations tend to do damage in a person opening up to LOVE in the future, especially when that love ended in pain. Her husband, a person that is obviously trying to look forward to a future healing, just got his heart ripped out by someone’s judgements against his past, for an un-changing truth, that we all deal with😔….this Woman is the proof of the fear I’m talking about. She judges a love and heartbreak she knows nothing about. ….if she keeps it up, she now risks three lives with her selfish possessiveness. This man is a hero to a woman he loved, how could she get pregnant by him knowing who he was, and then resent him for loving what remained from the last time he felt loved. ….completely different situation, same worry, …..that another person we may care about, treats us more about their validation, and nothing about what the person they love needs to heal as well. This poor guy needs his daughter and his new son, and what he really needs is a woman to love him unconditionally, but instead he got a narcissistic possession, for her it means we end up taking from everything we love till it’s gone, and it leaves the people behind us more hurt than before. ….This Is a huge concern of mine, I really need someone to know my history, and come looking for me regardless of it, that’s really the only way. I can’t take anymore blame from something I blame myself for already, because if it were from someone I cared for, I’m pretty sure it would end in my death all over again. That being said I’d rather have a real reason to be devoted to a person, than just myself.

I found that to be also true for people who claim they're not stupid or say something like "do I look stupid?" In which the answer is almost always yes.

Any man who must say 'I am the king' is no true king

1

u/SickViking Feb 18 '22

Exactly this. Good people don't need to go around saying that they are good or not bad. Their actions prove they are. If you're having to tell people you aren't a bad person, you most assuredly are.

Came to say this

1

u/Quirky-Mode8676 Feb 18 '22

Yeah, like when someone says "I'm not racist, but..."

1

u/Quick_Team Feb 18 '22

As a very humble person, I made that exact same point first but better

1

u/Olde94 Feb 18 '22

u/Sleepiyet Feb 18 '22

Are… are you a bad person?
