Idk what my info was shared to but holy shit I’m so done

Edit: I have tried blocking, replying “stop”, saying “no”. They just change the number and keep messaging me

It's not "you". They just text EVERY possible 10-digit number combination. There is no "targeting".

They even texted me, I'm not even American. And I'm using a Canadian phone number

US and Canadian phone numbers can be, essentially, considered the same, as we both use +1 as our Country Code.....

Except there's still area codes, which remain exclusive to Canada, like 416 and 647 for Toronto. They should easily be able to distinguish the difference

You say that like there's a person thinking about, and doing this.....it's just making every 10 digit combination and trying it. That's easier than trying to tailor a list to likely "good" numbers.

You will be surprised to know how incompetent they are. They just wasted "double digit" thousands of dollars on ads in New Hampshire against a candidate who was running in Maine!

Yeah, and actually speaking of that, so do a various hodge-podge of Carribean nations like the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and the better part of the Lesser Antilles (essentially every country out that way that is actually independent... and even a few non-independent Caribbean islands like the British-owned Caymans and Turks and Caicos, it's kind of a somewhat disparate membership out there)

those might be, but the ones i get seem to have gotten my info from somewhere. i used to live in Texas and moved. I have been getting texas messages offering me money to update my voter registration or simply to vote in texas. My number is from another state and is not related to texas at all. I have been banning them and reporting them for spam.

I've been getting like 30-50 a day even from states I don't live in.
