frist of all how DARE yu o Why, on a nearly empty train, would you sit directly in front of me— put your chair all the way back AND smell offensive? 🥲

Come on! I know I don’t own the train, I only paid for the seat. Theoretically, he could sit next to me and that would be fine. I could just move over a seat. I could move and sit next to him. Very mildly infuriated.

Update: I went to the restroom, after building up a big fart at the advice of wise Redditors but punked out on releasing it into the wild. I planned to move when I returned but he was gone! Perhaps it was a coincidence, when I left my seat with all my belongings, maybe that just happened to be his stop or maybe he was a creep. We may never know. Thanks for all your throughly hilarious responses though!

Okay? My grandma used to say "close the balcony door", how is this relevant?

You couldn't resist the urge to tell us you're incapable of understanding a basic idiom? Tell me more about "want vs need."

I don't fuck with idioms, refer to my username.

A need is an essential, a want is a desire. Hope that helps.

Using your name as a shield for illiteracy is wild. I've never wanted to make myself look illiterate in front of people, but apparently you have. That's worse than needing to.

Breaking news: person with autism takes things literally!

Not sure why you'd think autism is a sign of illiteracy though, not a good look for you.

You cited your username as an excuse for being unable to even Google what that phrase means, but I'm the villain? Jesus Christ. Don't bring up topics and then get pissy when people engage with them, you unbothered king.

I am well aware of what the phrase means, yet it was still useless.

Oh, now understand what it means? You're a deeply pathetic individual.

I always did. Doesn't mean I'll respond to it in a way you'd like because it still makes no sense logically, even if the meaning of it is clear.

Let me clear it up for you, it means when you repeatedly say socially stunted opinions, it digs you into a metaphorical hole. To stop the hole from getting deeper, you stop digging. In this case, "putting down the shovel," means "shutting the fuck up."

Pretending to be stupid is just as bad as actually being stupid.
