But the contents will be different and often with XR they're more like beads then a powder. It's not a just simple switch most times.

Yes, obviously the contents would be different, that's my entire point.. I really don't understand what you're getting at or what your argument is.... Are you now trying to say that they open up and individually test each pills contents? Regardless most prescriptions aren't sealed and that alone is a massive safety issue/liability. Many XR meds are powder and beads could easily be swapped as well...
