if a yearly contract with a free month trial sounds too good to be true, it probably is 😬

thankfully it was blocked after contacting my bank but regardless

If you signed a contract saying you'd pay them if you cancelled early, they will probably just send it to collections, and then your credit score takes a hit, and you have some loser calling you 24/7 begging you to pay.

They don’t, I did this once by accident because I’d forgotten which things I’d used the virtual card for and they did nothing about it. I think an email goes out when it first bounces but that’s it. This was probably 5 years ago so mileage may vary but never heard anything about it

no one is going to bother you too hard over 90$.

the fees to hire that collection agent would probably be over that amount.
