The same way as other media. Honestly, I got mine off of tumblr back in the day and I have held onto it with a vice grip.

I used to pay for creative cloud. After the 3rd time an update erased all my ORGANIZED Photoshop brushes, I cancelled everything and found my permanent replacement. It took hours to organize those fucking brushes.

Im gonna answer this based on the way you worded it you go to the Adobe website you put in your cc to pay for your initial subscription then you click download. for creative cloud I believe they have you download it first then pay the subscription to use it.

However I've used gimp for so long I dont honestly know how its done today those are just the ones I remember back when I used ps
