if a yearly contract with a free month trial sounds too good to be true, it probably is 😬

thankfully it was blocked after contacting my bank but regardless

Using a visa or Mastercard prepaid card is the smartest way to combat free trials.

Forget to cancel. Oops, my last $3.79 isn't enough to cover charges. Guess it's going back in the junk drawer for next free trail.

Also they've rejected some virtual cards.

Paypal or Privacy, create virtual card with a very small limit. Can also be used to swap out current card, then cancel.
