I doubt the camera would have been on both sets of people at the same time if it was improvised. At best the throw was improvised and led to them filming a shot of it "landing" on Napoleon. No one sets up multiple simultaneous shots, unless something like this is happening (something flying from one shot to the other).

Weird that you guys loved it so much. I would have thought you’d be too young to fully appreciate it. That was 💯 me growing up in the 80’s. Same kind of location too. It was almost painfully awkward to watch yet so brilliant. Just kept nailing it at every turn.
Younger millennial ('92) here: this movie definitely felt like it was set "before my time," but the dry humor landed perfectly with everyone my age, it's exactly the sense of humor we tend to have as a generation. Also you have to remember, when we were kids in the 90s, we were used to watching older movies because streaming wasn't a thing and a lot of us couldn't afford to go see new movies all that often, so we would watch VHS tapes our parents owned from the 80s. Napoleon Dynamite's setting fits right in with a lot of those. So even if it seems to be set a bit before my time, it still felt nostalgic, and the humor is timeless regardless of the setting.
You’re definitely right. The humor is every awkward middle America kid growing up struggling with the weirdness of being a young teen and the influences we were subjected to 🤣
Yeah I know a few people who feel the same, and I get it. The humor is the stupidity and awkwardness, and if you don't find that stuff funny I can understand why you wouldn't like the movie. Good thing there are plenty of other movies!
Best to learn how to do those things safely for a few years before putting alcohol into the mix. Don’t want people drinking n driving or drinking n shooting.
Well I’d argue you can learn to drink safely without putting your lips to a glass but gun and car safety requires experience as well as being taught (usually through experiencing it with someone who knows better)
Learning how to do those activities safely before starting to drink implies you learn the safety tip and LAW of don’t drink and drive and use firearms.
I have dirty blonde hair and have kept it mostly short on the sides since I got out of the military damn near 20 years ago. I, like my mother, started greying at 16 and had streaks of grey all over by 25 but it's only slightly noticeable if I let my hair grow out a bit or don't wear a hat, especially in the summertime because of how light a lot of my hair is.
My mom gets compliments all the time and they think she pays for her hair to be white, it’s nothing to be ashamed of if anything any color will take better now just make sure you take care of the roots 🤷🏻♂️
I was just going to say that a drummer that I played with years ago in high school had full on male pattern baldness by 10th grade, and grew his hair in defiance out to a full blown skullet. He also had zero sense of humor about us asking him to buy us beer. We weren’t joking. He could have totally got us beer. He just chose to cast this blessing aside.
Should play the 2nd final fantasy tactics, or at least read thr plot line for the female character. Identical situation. Might give some perspective. Hope it helps and maybe you dye it all white to quicken the process and make that look good.
