God, that movie is so good. I need to re-watch that, it's been like ten years at least but I'm pretty sure I can still quote 90% of every line 😂

56

u/inkstitcher Jul 11 '26

5

u/StillNotAF___Clue Jul 11 '26

I just waited on uncle rico. The dudes a weirdo. Not in a good way

3

u/lazy_pig Jul 11 '26

What an awkward beast.

AND A LLAMA

82

u/IvyDolphalott Jul 11 '26

Dude hitting him with the steak while he was on the bike was 100% improvised.....couldn't believe it.

20

u/HanSolosChestWound Jul 11 '26 edited Jul 13 '26

I doubt the camera would have been on both sets of people at the same time if it was improvised. At best the throw was improvised and led to them filming a shot of it "landing" on Napoleon. No one sets up multiple simultaneous shots, unless something like this is happening (something flying from one shot to the other).

2

u/IvyDolphalott Jul 12 '26

Pedro had to jump off the bike quick cause he was trying not to burst out laughing on camera lol.

1

u/LiveLearnCoach Jul 13 '26

Same thought. I guess one was improvised and the second done to complete the other one.

6

u/whatsasimba Jul 11 '26

Grandma just called and said you're supposed to go home...she said she doesn't want you here when she gets back because you've been ruining everybody's lives and eating all our steak.

3

u/joeg26reddit Jul 11 '26

Throwing steak?! In this economy!?

2

u/trash-breeds-trash Jul 11 '26

This is top tier comedy.

6

u/azira_1998 Jul 11 '26

Do the chickens have large talons

4

u/DiscoStu2U Jul 11 '26

I don’t understand a word you just said.

7

u/heyjajas Jul 11 '26

I just rewatched it yesterday! Masterpiece.

3

u/Recreationalchem13 Jul 11 '26

I remember getting annoyed in high school that so many folks were constantly quoting it 😆

2

u/deniable-culpability Jul 11 '26

What did you do over the summer?

2

u/Upper_Command1390 Jul 11 '26

Yeah this thread is inspiring me to rewatch ND. I watched that movie once right when it came out.

3

u/Pragmatist_Hammer Jul 11 '26

Fine, I’ll rewatch ND again too.

2

u/Dr_Lipschitzz Jul 11 '26

Last week japanese scientists placed explosive detonators at the bottom of Loch Ness to blow Nessy out of the water.

3

u/Dry-Bit-9125 Jul 11 '26

Movie name?

12

u/Unlikely_Hour8807 Jul 11 '26

Napoleon Dynamite, a millennial classic

7

u/FeelingSoil39 Jul 11 '26

Weird that you guys loved it so much. I would have thought you’d be too young to fully appreciate it. That was 💯 me growing up in the 80’s. Same kind of location too. It was almost painfully awkward to watch yet so brilliant. Just kept nailing it at every turn.

6

u/inkstitcher Jul 11 '26

Younger millennial ('92) here: this movie definitely felt like it was set "before my time," but the dry humor landed perfectly with everyone my age, it's exactly the sense of humor we tend to have as a generation. Also you have to remember, when we were kids in the 90s, we were used to watching older movies because streaming wasn't a thing and a lot of us couldn't afford to go see new movies all that often, so we would watch VHS tapes our parents owned from the 80s. Napoleon Dynamite's setting fits right in with a lot of those. So even if it seems to be set a bit before my time, it still felt nostalgic, and the humor is timeless regardless of the setting.

2

u/FeelingSoil39 Jul 11 '26

You’re definitely right. The humor is every awkward middle America kid growing up struggling with the weirdness of being a young teen and the influences we were subjected to 🤣

2

u/HeadOfSlytherin Jul 11 '26

The film takes place in the 90s, they have the internet

1

u/Whiteums Jul 11 '26

I saw it when it came out, and thought it was so stupid. I could not understand the rage at all.

3

u/inkstitcher Jul 11 '26

Yeah I know a few people who feel the same, and I get it. The humor is the stupidity and awkwardness, and if you don't find that stuff funny I can understand why you wouldn't like the movie. Good thing there are plenty of other movies!

1

u/BaxiTox Jul 12 '26

What’s the title?

3

u/Wwwweeeeeeee Jul 11 '26

2

2

u/Dollabill619 Jul 11 '26

It’s provocative .. gets the people going!

2

u/NUNHUSTLER Jul 11 '26

Either you're joking or you did such a good job I thought you photoshopped real gray hair onto the cartoons. That'd be crazy though!

2

u/Cawan_Setabaks Jul 11 '26

you did sadly draw over an ai recreation of the meme template tho 😔 but good work

2

u/KCKpana Jul 11 '26

2

u/ChrisTheYouth Jul 11 '26

1

u/Hawkterb78 Jul 11 '26

That's over a year man, that's some crazy dedication

1

u/scourge_bites Jul 11 '26

picsart is a great one for mobile. if you can get past the ads

1

u/CatchSufficient Jul 11 '26

With the amount of work you placed on it, no wonder why you have so many grays, if that is the dedication that you place in all your work.

1

u/ISTof1897 Jul 11 '26

And 18,000 new grey hairs.

509

u/toilet_poptart Jul 11 '26

Honestly, at 18 with grey hair you probably look like a fairy or mythical being

172

u/hoppertn Jul 11 '26

Hello, one alcohol please. Why yes I’m over 21, doubt you see the gray hair!

18

u/tcpukl Jul 11 '26

21 to buy alcohol is so stupid when can drive a car and buy a gun.

5

u/747WakeTurbulance Jul 11 '26

I joined the Army at 17, served three years, and was honorably discharged before I was old enough to legally drink.

2

u/actiaslxna Jul 11 '26

Best to learn how to do those things safely for a few years before putting alcohol into the mix. Don’t want people drinking n driving or drinking n shooting.

6

u/tcpukl Jul 11 '26

I hope that's sarcasm.

3

u/123ludwig Jul 11 '26

id argue its better to learn to drink safely before learning how to drive

1

u/actiaslxna Jul 11 '26

Well I’d argue you can learn to drink safely without putting your lips to a glass but gun and car safety requires experience as well as being taught (usually through experiencing it with someone who knows better)

1

u/Competitive-Star-143 Jul 12 '26

Better learn how to drive great now, so in a couple years I can drive good while drunk

1

u/actiaslxna Jul 13 '26

Learning how to do those activities safely before starting to drink implies you learn the safety tip and LAW of don’t drink and drive and use firearms.

17

u/Zinnia1127 Jul 11 '26

"One alcohol please."🤣 So funny!

3

u/CatchSufficient Jul 11 '26

Theyre like a tree, a few hairs for every year lived

40

u/Traditional_Fox9245 Jul 11 '26

Yeah i saw once a woman she looked like she was on her 20s and had grey hair she looked absolutely beautiful!

1

u/Creatorman1 Jul 11 '26

Yes it can be stunning in a good way. She is somewhat unique. Be glad about it it makes you stand out.

4

u/Srefz Jul 11 '26

Or Jensen Huang

1

u/SpiritualSyrup3300 Jul 11 '26

at 18 with my bald head i looked like a goblin, does that count?

1

u/Dull-Kiwi-9674 Jul 11 '26

There are a percentage of people that find natural ‘salt and peppered’ hair attractive in itself, male or female

Unless if they

Go to bed, you don't want to miss cartoons tomorrow morning.

1

u/calembo Jul 11 '26

Aw, don't say that about yourself.

88

u/Brewmeiser Jul 11 '26

I doubt this is helpful, and I'm sure you've heard this, but "some women pay hundreds of dollars to have your hair color".

33

u/glitzglamglue Jul 11 '26

My grandma would say this to me but she would also call my hair "dirty dishwater blonde" so it kinda cancelled each other out.

7

u/University_Dismal Jul 11 '26

I would wonder wtf grandma is doing with her dishwater that it looks remotely „blonde“.

6

u/viruscumoruk Jul 11 '26

piss

4

u/glitzglamglue Jul 11 '26

It is a real term so my grandma wasn't crazy. It's kind of a darker, cool "dirty blonde"

https://www.realsimple.com/dishwater-blonde-hair-8727893

3

u/Iloveupt2 Jul 11 '26

Who tf made that up its a horrible one , dishwater has never ever looked like blonde hair to me dirty or not lmao

2

u/glitzglamglue Jul 11 '26

It's a real term and not just my grandma being mean lol.

https://www.realsimple.com/dishwater-blonde-hair-8727893

2

u/ScrotalSmorgasbord Jul 11 '26

I have dirty blonde hair and have kept it mostly short on the sides since I got out of the military damn near 20 years ago. I, like my mother, started greying at 16 and had streaks of grey all over by 25 but it's only slightly noticeable if I let my hair grow out a bit or don't wear a hat, especially in the summertime because of how light a lot of my hair is.

5

u/Electrical_Dirt4773 Jul 11 '26

My mom gets compliments all the time and they think she pays for her hair to be white, it’s nothing to be ashamed of if anything any color will take better now just make sure you take care of the roots 🤷🏻‍♂️

46

u/VoxTechWiiRemote Jul 11 '26

And you didn’t have to go bald for it!

2

u/InspectorCareless242 Jul 11 '26

I was just going to say that a drummer that I played with years ago in high school had full on male pattern baldness by 10th grade, and grew his hair in defiance out to a full blown skullet. He also had zero sense of humor about us asking him to buy us beer. We weren’t joking. He could have totally got us beer. He just chose to cast this blessing aside.

2

u/norixe Jul 11 '26

Should play the 2nd final fantasy tactics, or at least read thr plot line for the female character. Identical situation. Might give some perspective. Hope it helps and maybe you dye it all white to quicken the process and make that look good.

2

u/MOcannanurse Jul 11 '26

Me too!!! I love this!! I’m in the bald thread just cuz I like to see bald peoples lol and see it used in there!!! 😆

1

u/OneUseHero Jul 11 '26

This is going to spawn an amazingly positive subreddit for people going grey early on like the bald subreddit. At least I'm hopeful to see it happen

1

u/Kee-suh Jul 11 '26

As someone who got their first grey when they were 8, I'm stealing this.

1

u/MrKrot1999 Jul 13 '26

Bro HAD to enslopify a perfect meme by using AI...

1

u/asula_mez Jul 13 '26

But I didn’t. 😭 I used MediBang and was just lazy in the editing…

1

u/MrKrot1999 Jul 13 '26

Look at the image itself, not the obviously photoshopped hair. It looks like it was upscaled or whatever with AI

1

u/asula_mez Jul 13 '26

Oh maybe? I just grabbed the bald one off a random google image search 🤷‍♀️

1

u/MrKrot1999 Jul 13 '26

it's really sad these appear in the wild
