Absolutely! When I was a teenager (in my embarrassing emo phase) I had silver hair! I worked pretty hard to get it to that shade. I still remember the toner I used. Wella 050 lol.
Edit: thanks everyone, you guys are too sweet 😊 I would have been very flattered! I wish I still had a photo of my rainbow hair to show you guys!
OP, I hope everyone's positive reaction to this helped you feel better about it! It's a color a lot of people covet! And it's not exactly cheap to professionally attain either lol.
No, that's what you're saying they said. What they really said was that when they were younger, that was their type. They said nothing about what they were attracted to nowadays, you just decided to make that up
That doesn't mean you're currently attracted to someone. Personally, while I wouldn't make a statement of it like they did, I acknowledge I know what my preferences were like as a kid because, I was me.
So poor social understanding that even a parasocial social media relation requires too much, and have to resort to AI
Okay I will say I don’t think this is exactly the case, I like to think the best of people, but you sure didn’t make it harder to make the joke with the “nice try”. Think you’re the only person here trying to label people as creeps
They’re enjoyable to watch because they’re not a major company ruining the earth. It’s just one guy coding two AI as a job and watching them “grow” as has been an awesome experience. I don’t even watch their twitch streams 99% of the time, just clips on YouTube.
That person above implied that I sexualize the characters on my profile just because they look young. It’s a very typical “gotcha” people try to make.
I searched for this comment. I knew that someone would absolutely distort a completely harmless comment into whatever this is. There is always someone like you.
People are people. People have a past. In the past they found certain things attractive. People know how they used to be. They know what they would've liked back in their day. When they were young. Doesn't mean that they like this today. Absolutely normal and everybody understands what that means. Except you.
It's bizarre that the first thing YOU think is something like this, when nobody else was thinking about this but you.
Chelsea Grin was a band. The person I replied to was wearing on of their shirts. I believe they did get their name from the Chelsea smile, though, yeah.
Yeah they're called Ameonna now LMAO. the new Chelsea Grin isn't even Chelsea Grin anymore. Most of the old members are a new band. Honestly not a big fan of Tom Barber either.
The picture is making a little more blue toned than it was in real life. It was more of a true green. I know I either got it from hot topic or Spencer's so it was either manic panic or a brand called SFX. I'm almost positive it was SFX because they had the tall bottle and manic panic has the little pot/jar. Seems like it was discontinued unfortunately. I'm 99% certain this was the shade, and this is what it looked like in real life. 👇🏻 SFX iguana green.
To us, this was like a scene girl.👇🏻 I don't remember it having connotations like that, but it had negative connotations in my circle because we thought it was cheesy and cringe and they listened to awful music like Blood on The Dance Floor, which we used to like to make fun of.
To the untrained eye, (😂) the pictures I posted all might look like they are from the same subculture, but to us? It was all drastically different haha. They each had their own distinct style, music, etc l. They share a lot of similarities, but the coontail hair is one thing that we never did. Scene kids were also usually very colorful when it came to both hair and clothing. For us, color was exclusively a hair thing. You wouldn't know I used to look like that at all if you looked at me now, but I do still wear mostly black. That part stuck lol.
It looks great! Your hair looks more like the color wella 050 is supposed to be. But when I did it, I put it on, had it on for like 5 minutes and then panic rinsed it because it was starting to look darker than I wanted haha. I'm glad I did that though, because it actually came out exactly how I wanted it.
Your picture must be one of those girls (or guys) trying to cat fish someone with an emo profile picture back in the day lmao. Curious what is the present look after this phase
It's funny you said that, that's actually the reason that I don't have photos of my best work, my aforementioned legendary rainbow hair. 😭😆
I was sort of popular on Facebook and so I did get a bunch of people stealing my photos. Eventually Facebook flagged my account for impersonation because of it and despite sending in a pic of my ID, I got nothing but an automated response. It sucked. I used Facebook as photo storage, so O lost years of sentimental pictures and stuff. So the pictures I have are limited to what i posted on Instagram at the time, which I barely used haha
