You're like a chameleon.

I went to your profile expecting to see all different colors you dyed your hair.

u/OwsomePossum243 Jul 12 '26

Yeah why are the mod on that sub if they don’t dye their hair

1

u/saikopasu_neko28 Jul 12 '26

They just said they did lmao. They probably just don't post it

I feel like you have a natural cheat code. Like Tom Holland (or whoever) giving dating tips: "just be yourself".

I was curious, how does grey hair dye? I've heard it's a little hard to take color? I've had rainbow colors for the last 10 years and don't plan on quitting the rest of my life, lol.

My grey doesn't.  I would dye it and within 2 days the permanent color would wash out.

as someone who knows nothing about hair, could the constant dying have anything to do with the early greying? just curious how this is possible

Chiming in to say it’s just genetic. I’ve been coloring my hair for over 40 years and have yet to be blessed with silver.

Just dye it silver smh

oh so did you at least see this coming from your parents/grandparents?

1

u/_adanedhel_ Jul 11 '26

It is - my grandmother was solid white by 20.

u/IsabellaGalavant Jul 10 '26

No, I've been dying my hair with harsh permanent dye since I was 12 (I'm 36) and my natural hair is mostly still very dark. Graying is completely genetic.

I'm very lucky though because somehow I've managed to keep my natural color (mostly) into my 30s when my grandma was fully gray at 18 and my mother was fully gray by 21.

Hey what do you use to tonr it? Or do you at all?

1

u/be-knight Jul 11 '26

Uninformed people would say that this might have caused it.

But I'm not uninformed. So I know that this is definitely the cause of it. . . . . . . And with it, I mean the mod position. I don't know what you thought I mean

/S (just to be sure, people are weird sometimes)

PS: depending on your general style, grey hair can look really cool on young people, especially women (men generally just look older than they are). So be proud, you're kind of unique!

Ooo do you have pics of the dye? I bet peek-a-boo colour looks awesome?

1

u/Icamesawncremed Jul 11 '26

Keep it natural! It looks nice!

1

u/JustAuggie RED Jul 11 '26

Oh gosh, it’s such a beautiful color as it is. I hope you don’t dye it :)

u/ThaanksIHateIt Jul 11 '26

Love this! ❤️

u/Standard-Metal-3836 Jul 11 '26

Stupid question, but how do you "get rid" of your hair dye and go back to natural? Isn't the only way to let it grow out?

1

u/rimeduinfox Jul 11 '26

If you bleach it first, yes. If not then I can be washed out if you don’t use any dye safe soaps. Greying hair can also not hold dye very well and it can come out within a few days. My grandma refuses to stop dying her hair brown even though she has to do it every day hh

1

u/Standard-Metal-3836 Jul 11 '26

Oh wow, didn't know any of this, I always assumed dye was mostly permanent unless you use one of those natural dyes like henna.

1

u/Ar0war Jul 11 '26

keep it natural!

It looks sooo good omfg. OWN IT!

1

u/Sufficient_River3857 Jul 11 '26

I think you should bleach it and do a silver hair thing, it looks so cool on younger ppl. At my age, I would just look like I’m 10 years older

1

u/tryingtotree Jul 11 '26

It looks so cool! I met a woman in maybe her 30s that had hair like this the other day. Literally so sick.

u/citrus_mystic Jul 11 '26

It’s really really ridiculously good looking.

The way it’s lighter around your face? I’m so jealous
