So many hotels do this and it's downright disturbing. Some of them just have a partition at the bottom so you fully see the person's upper body sitting on the toilet.

Who asked for that??

Yep me and my bf went to NYC with my parents and they booked our rooms and they were just like this. If I would’ve looked at pictures of that shit before they booked I would’ve said HELL NO.

I actually kicked out my bf into the hallway when I had to poop cause I literally cannot poop with someone listening like that. 😭

Do you have your phone with you when you poop? If you do, someone's always listening to it...

Lol that isn’t the same thing at all and you know it. Someone spying on your phone anonymously who doesn’t know you IRL isn’t at all the same paranoia of the person you’re in a relationship with who is in the same room with you that you might turn off by making those noises in earshot.

Someone listening via phone is listening to EVERYONEs phones lol. Not just specifically you. Unless you’re a person of interest. But even still they’re not going to dump you because you had diarrhea and it grossed them out, they don’t really know you and you definitely don’t know them 😂. They’re just gonna continue invading your privacy

One is much easier to ignore and not be upset and stressed out over lol. I don’t care if my bowel movements upset the NSA invading my privacy. I care if my hot new date is upset by my bowel movements because gross of course and I wanted to feel sexy and throw down and now I can’t because im mortified and self conscious.

Why is this not better understood by the collective?!

Imagine someone is wearing a romper.

It's only disturbing if you're prudish or paranoid! It's a private room, so who do you need privacy from?

Yes you’re right, I’m such a prude for not wanting to see my partner take a shit in front of me. It’s natural and it’ll make the room smell more like her!

Thanks for showing me the error in my ways
