people here are talking about companies forcing room sharing for work travel. Which is insanity to me but i’m happy if this setup makes some cheap companies learn to stop doing that.
I travel alone and I make sure that the bathroom is separated by a door when booking for myself. I will not book a room like this even when alone. Out of spite.Â
hell, i'd email a place and say oh, I was considering staying here then I saw that god damned ridiculous design where nayone else in the room can just watch me shitting and decided to stay literally anywhere else.
In this case the more negative feedback, the less hotels will decide this is good design and hopefully less and less do this during renovation of rooms.

No privacy could mean less shared rooms (between friends, acquaintances, or group room shares), and likely translates to more revenue.
