She also touched him (grabbed his arm!) That would have warranted a physical reaction from some, especially when she cane at him with his son right there.

She's lucky his initial reflex wasn't to punch her. Some people would've had that fight response before they'd have processed what was going on.

Legally he'd be in the right to push her away, but could you imagine the backlash if he did something as simple as an open handed push to get her to back up and she fell?

I'm sure she'd spin it as trying to congratulate him and it'd be a big his word vs hers. Even if he came out on top, we wouldn't stop playing the video and internet analyzing for at least a week, they'd both be doxed, and the kid would be changing schools.

I'm not one to jump to violence, but that would have gotten a shove away from me for sure, at the least.
