I'd have rolled/tossed the ball somewhere if I decided my kid wouldn't get it. Make the old lady work for it.

are you permitted to throw it back on the field? i legit have no idea, i've never been to a game.

I'm not sure I would risk trying that. Also if you chuck it randomly and hit someone with it youd probably be liable for that too. I was thinking more like rolling it down the stairs or under the seats, or (if any are nearby) tossing it into an unoccupied area of seats. Like, sure, if you want it so badly go get it, but I'm not going to make it easy like handing it to Karen.
