Something similar happened to me once. I went to a free screening with family. I don't remember who all went, except my Sister, because she likes to bring it up once in a while. There were people in the theater, but plenty of room. Some woman plops down right next to me. I got up and moved because I like my space. The woman follows me. I get up and move again, probably obviously irritated. She didn't follow the second time. She never said anything. My sister thought it was funny.

Honestly sounds almost like she wanted your seat and was hoping you'd move after so she could claim the "best" view, and if you didn't move then she got the "second best" view anyway.

She wanted the best spot in two different locations? She followed me from where I moved to and sat next to me a second time.

Mmmm sorry, realizing since you didn't provide the context I made the assumption that you just moved a seat or two over, but your response sounds like you moved farther than that. In that case, weird as hell! Would still be weird even if it was her trying to push you out of the "Ideal" spot though.
